It's a must to order delicious root beer, draft beer or pale ale while visiting this pizzeria. As many visitors remark, tea is really great. The cosy atmosphere of BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse makes guests feel relaxed and have a good time. Cute employees reflect the style and character of this place. It is known as a place with nice decor. But a number of clients who use Google didn't give this spot a high rating.

BJ’s is the winner of the return to restaurant choice. We’ve been here four times and each time surprised by our meals and the great service, once you get seated. BJ’s is a brewhouse and has a large amount of seating and adequate food staff. Wait times can be rough around any weekend but typically 10 to 15 minutes during the week. Their mixed drinks are very good, I’ve had a few of their beers and haven’t found one I like yet , but margaritas and sangrias are all very tasty. Last night I had the prime rib with Sriracha brussels sprouts and fries. My wife had a very good looking chicken dish. But we shared avocado eggrolls and fried dumplings, which were both very good, as are all of their appetizers. But be prepared typical appetizers $15. This is not a cheap place The noise level is pretty big loud but it’s a brewhouse after all, and attention to detail is probably the best I have seen in the last dozen times we’ve eaten out. The prime rib was very good. I’ll include pictures. As was everything else that we had With the prime rib. I ordered rare and got it nicely rare cooked through beautifully pink perfect pink and it is a weekend special $35 I believe. It comes with a cookie cake dessert. Fresh baked. So like I said, we’ve been there four times now and each time has been a nice pleasant and eventless experience. I believe the best experiences to have your wait staff just do their thing magically cleaning your table Without disrupting you, but be tentative always to make sure your drinks are full and they ask of everything is good and if you need anything. The two things that really stand out at any eatery to me is if the person who is serving you tells you their name, and to that they bring extra napkins if they see you struggling - without you having to ask for them. That’s from the tiniest little breakfast place to the fanciest place you could eat that should be two things that are automatic. I hate calling a server. Hey you. So our bill was $125 to give you an idea that’s a two drinks prime rib chicken, something to appetizers and two cocktails. Not bad in our area near the ocean Atlantic that is. We will be back. We ordered sliders for take out and after eating one we realized the meat was completely uncooked and raw. I immediately called and complained. The manager was very nice and refuded us; however, after reading several other reviews complaining about raw burgers this is unacceptable. Had an amazing time came with the wife for dinner and had Scott as our waiter, he was very friendly, laid back, and on point all through our meal he is the perfect balance between professional and fun and went above and beyond. Food was awesome drinks never empty and stomach very full, will definitely be back again soon. On 1/28/24, I joined a gathering of over 20 people at BJ’s restaurant & brewhouse in Toms River, NJ to celebrate a pair of birthdays. Our servers, Catherine and Caitlin, were exceptional. Despite the size of our group, their service was impeccable, and we never found ourselves in need of anything. Whether it was a drink, utensils, or any other request, they were always ready to ensure our experience was memorable. The culinary team also performed admirably. Every dish we ordered arrived hot and tasty. The pan pizza, in particular, was a standout. We eagerly anticipate our next visit. The Cali Flatbread was pretty good. The chicken fettuccine alfredo tasted like a freezer aisle pasta. The alfredo was not even an alfredo, just straight cream, no butter, & no parmesan cheese. How tf do you mess up an alfredo??? Plus, that garlic knot was bland & tasteless. I had ordered the strawberry shortcake pizookie, which was yummy. So I had the Swiss mushrooms burger on Wednesday, so it was $12 special that was delicious. The tri-tip steak salad & couscous macaroni & cheese bites were scrumptious. The portions are generous & the Pizookie mini trio is well worth it, Had the Ghirardelli triple chocolate that was perfect. Plus, We had the new confetti one & the strawberry shortcake that was pure deliciousness. This chain really is worth only joining on daily deals & Happy Hour. The Bacon Chicken Ranch Deep-Dish Pizza was scrumptious. It's not like a traditional Deep-Dish it's light & airy & melts in your mouth. The Halloween Spooky Pizookie was good. Every pasta here really is awful. The BBQ brisket burger was tasty & has decent fries. This place has also recently changed the menu & are up charging the bevs got ride of unlimited refills. This place was already pricey. I guess it is what it is, I'll just come for the deals. Visited for the first time in February 2024. My wife and I decided to order appetizers instead of entrées, because a few items caught our eyes The food was delicious and the ambience was very good. Our favorites were the avocado eggrolls and the buffalo bone-in chicken wings. My only complaint would be the crazy expensive prices. We ordered four appetizers, I had two beers and my wife had one margarita and our check was $97. I have never paid 9.25 for a Blue Moon before…ouch! We ordered the chicken nachos, they were really good. I felt like they could have used more chicken though. I got the signature BJ’s Smokehouse Burger, it was amazing. The fries were good aswell. We ordered through Grubhub last night. It was our first time eating anything from BJ’s. The food was amazing! Probably the best burgers we’ve ever had. Everything was exactly as we ordered and everything was perfectly packaged. We’ll definitely be stopping in the restaurant in the future. 👏👏👏 well done!
