The pan sobao here is delicious and baked fresh daily. They also have yummy Puerto Rican pastries and local fruit. Priced are comparable to Las Arenss, on the other side of the street.

We started our day in this bakery with two eggs over easy bacon and fries. The service was quick. The food good and inexpensive. Lovely outside veranda sitting. Go early so it is less crowded. We loved it!

This non-descript establishment services the local "Parcelas Betances" and through traffic for Lajas, Maguayo or la Areanas and Borqueron in the opposite direction. Patronized by locals, It serves as a quick stop for Staples such as milk, bread and the occasional pastry (although limited in selection and display). This gathering place has its group of regulars that it around sipping on beer, playing quarter slots and engaging in conversations. Simple, Friendly is typical of nondescript local bakeries in Puerto Rico. It is also one of the few snacks, Ice and food stops prior to many of the beaches such as El Combate and Las Pargueras other than gas stations

Nice Selection of desserts, want to try next time. Had the pork ribs and ham egg and cheese sandwich. Would also try their pernil next time! Service was good.

Tasty and fresh hot bread, cupcakes, hors d'oeuvres, lunches, breakfast, roast chicken, pizza, all kind of drinks, coffee and more. Specials every day. Nice place with good service. Family atmosphere.
