Very nice diner! Upon entering, the employees are super friendly. we came in on a Saturday around noon and were seated right away. The coffee was tasty, they have flavored creamers. I ordered the veggie skillet with pancakes. The skillet could use a little more seasoning but was hot and fresh. First time here and I look forward to coming again! Highly recommend. Their food tasted great, their service is excellent (Carmen was delightful) and the atmosphere/cleanliness is a 10/10. I ordered the half biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage link, my mother had the pancakes with fresh strawberries, half order of corn beef hash with eggs. Oh This place was such a treat. I had no idea it existed. I went with my friends and family on Monday morning I had the seafood omelette pancakes and side of bacon, my wife had the vegetarian skillet with pancakes, my best friend/brother had the king omelette with Pancakes. The food was delicious affordable and the customer service was a grand slam. This lovely African American woman met all our needs and was very attentive to our asks and non verbal communication. The manager was friendly as well. I told her I would write this review and I did. Note to the team please get a yelp page. I will be gladly to write one on there as well. You come here for the Baked Blueberry French Toast !!! I absolutely love it !! The blueberry’s are baked into the batter and it tastes soooo fresh I also added whip cream on top . The blueberries are allways sooo fresh and yummy ! Got scrambled eggs with sausage and potato pancakes which is also another one of my favs here pares very well with sour cream . I did take my food to go this time but I have ate inside before and everytime I did I had great service . This place does get really busy but they are fast and give great attentive service and push food out fast. If it is busy wait time usually isn’t that bad maybe 15 min wait sometimes . I highly recommend this place if you’re in the oak lawn area .

I wasn't sure what to expect. The old Oak Lawn dinner at the same location was a bit of a dive, but good. The Blueberry hill has been totally redone and looks so much better. The food is also very good and hearty. I came here for breakfast and was very impressed. The eggs were cooked well, the pancakes were really good and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere of this restaurant is family friendly and cozy. They have a modern look inside which I love and it makes you want to stay and chat with friends and family here for a good while. I tried the luck of the Irish skillet and it was delicious! The hash browns were my favorite! The service here is great everyone here is friendly and respectful. I have no complaints honestly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great breakfast with a good variety of dishes and I will definitely come again. This was my first visit to this beautifully remodel establishment. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I had an amazing hot veggie omelet with raisin toast. My waitress Tiffany greeted me with a warm and awesome smile which made my morning. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I hate to give them such a low rating because the service was awesome but my sister and I both took a few bites of what we ordered and left almost the entire breakfast. The toast and bacon were the only things I ate and my sister only ate the raisin toast which she said was delicious. Maybe if we had ordered waffles or pancake type breakfasts we probably would have loved it. I may go again and order something like that but the skillets were just tasteless and we seriously paid $38 for food we didn't even want to take to go.
