Bob Evans is pretty near Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Order nicely cooked rolls, honey chicken and mashed potatoes. A lot of people point out that waiters serve good biscuits, crepes and strawberry pancakes here. Guests don't like cold coffee at this restaurant. We always eat at Bob Evans wherever we travel. They have the best biscuits and sausage gravy. Unfortunately, the gravy fell short on this trip. Usually, you have to spoon your gravy onto your biscuits. The cook here apparently believes in runny gravy. The gravy was like soup and ran out of the bowl onto the biscuits . When you cut a piece of biscuit with a fork and picked it up, all the gravy ran off the biscuit. If you wanted gravy on your biscuit, you had to eat it with a spoon. The gravy still had the same great taste but way too runny. This location is one with the country store so there are lots of souvenirs to purchase. The staff was great. Waited way too long for food. Not busy. They don't give bread or anything, so plan to sit for a good long time being hungry. I ordered a roast beef sandwich. One side was mushy and wet. The beef didn't taste like fresh roast beef. It tasted like canned or old or poorly cooked. Ketsup on the table despite Heinz announcing it requires refrigeration. At my table I sit next to a window with blinds. Food, dead skin cells, all manner of gross on the blinds. Wash those. This place put me in the mind frame of a Piccadilly and Crcker Barrel, mixed. The food wasn't bad. I think it would have been better if it wasn't a little warmer than room temperature. We loved this place so much we came for three nights in a row on our recent trip. Staff was incredible and so was the food. My husband’s favorite was the fried chicken with the honey biscuit and I loved their veggie soup. Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Food was good. Not very hot. Wait staff seemed irritated. Seemed like possibly a staffing shortage. My girl didn't enjoy the food, staff or overall energy. Pretty long wait time considering that it wasn't exactly packed with people. My girl complained to corporate and received a 20 dollar gift card. I appreciate the effort even if it didn't cover half of the unpleasant experience. Not sure I'll risk 30 bucks to even use the gift card. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
