The food was tasty but I will say their flavors are very limited so if you don’t like the 2 choices : soy garlic, and spicy. The yum yum yang sauce(this might be a limited time) Which the yum yum yang sauce was great for those that like a little heat. Same for potstickers soy garlic or spicy so we were not a fan of the potstickers. Onion rings very crispy. I did hear the pork buns were yummy, but we did not get to try them. The place was clean, but one of our chairs was lopsided. We would have switched tables but it was a pretty busy place for people needing seating for 4 or more in a group. What a nice find. While shopping in Maple Grove, we came across this unique little spot famous for their Korean fried chicken. We ordered chicken fried rice, which was very tasty. We also tried the boneless wings. I normally go for the spicy wings but I preferred the soy garlic, tons of flavor. Last but not least, we ordered the Buldak. This dish comes out sizzling like fajitas. I preferred pairing it with the fried rice vs the white rice. This place was very busy and the takeout business was crazy busy. It was alright. The fried rice was typical fried rice but tasted like Chinese buffet, chicken was crispy but the flavors weren't too noticeable with the half and half, pork buns were the better thing but the flavor felt lacking this time around. The food was so yummy. I love their spicy sauce. I wish they sold it in bottles, I'd stock up. We usually order to-go, but we decided to dine in this time. It is very small so when it's packed, it's packed. I recommend that maybe the largest group to be comfortable there would be a party of 4. On to the food. We ordered chicken katsu and bibimbap bowl. So so goooood. Awesome presentation as well. The bowl was so fulfilling and satisfyingly spicy. The chicken was great as well. This place is impeccably clean. Staff were busy, friendly, and attentive. The chicken came out hot and fresh despite the warning in the menu that there may be a wait on it. Love, love, LOVE their fried chicken. The Soy Garlic is amazing and the twice frying makes for super crispy skin. The hot is pretty hot, but only hits the tip of my tongue The potstickers are fried and crunchy, so good. My kids think the popcorn shrimp is the best. Bon Chon always brings me and family a smile. They are consistent and the food is always delicious. The soy garlic and spicy 🌶️ sauces for their wings are great 👍🏽. Usually we do half and half because the spicy can really get to you. But you definitely miss spiciness if you don’t at least do half and half. This location uses stone bowls and it just feels fancy especially for lunch. The food comes out fast and the service is excellent. You can tell this place prides itself in training and consistency. The kimchi is made in-house and it’s so good. Wish I could buy it to go. Price seems expensive initially but in reality it’s a better bargain than KFC and at a different level.
