Carlos understands coffee and community. His place is not built to be a "coffee shop" but rather he is roasting for his business of selling beans via website or commercial business. He opens his shop on Fridays only, and has one community table. This is not a place to camp out with a laptop and work, nor does he serve any food at all. This is 100% about coffee and conversation, and it is refreshing and relaxing. Thanks Carlos, for always being a great host! I am always thankful when a trip to Porto falls on a Friday and I can visit! Service Dine in Meal type Other Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is an amazing coffee shop that we came across when we were traveling in Portugal! The coffee shop owner, Carlos, is super friendly , and passionate and knowledgeable about coffee ! I have never went into a coffee shop and being asked what type of coffee I like before they start making the coffee I ordered! The coffee was amazing ! The coffee he recommended to us to bring back to Toronto is just exactly the type of coffee we like. This is definitely one of the highlights of our trip!!
Best coffee I’ve had in Portugal. The shop is quite small and centered around the roastery with limited seating which honestly makes sense for a small specialty coffee shop focused on producing top quality beans. Service Dine in Price per person €1–5 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You will wait for your coffee but it is so worth it. Top 3 espresso shots I've had in Europe. If you're in to specialty coffee and you're in Porto, make the trek out here.

Superb freshly roasted beans from various geographies. Owner is amazing, very helpful with advise and guidance on coffee making. Not cheap, but well worth it. Try Costa Rica beans. You can also get good leaf tea here. For coffee lovers a must go. Not only to get your beans, but to have an espresso and great conversation, and meet people of all walks of life. I don't drink coffee, but I went because my partner loves specialty coffee. The owner was unbelievably kind and offered to make me Panama cascara which is basically a tea infusion made from the shells of coffee beans. He assured me I would like it even though I dislike coffee. He was right! The cascara infusion was delicious and I enjoyed our visit immensely. The owner is a true artist with coffee and tea. We ended up chatting for a long time in the beautiful cafe.

First of all, this is not just a place you drink coffee, this is an experience. The place looks good but I would say more like an office. However, the owner is there and brew a very good coffee. You can buy beans here and have a chat about its quality etc. Be ready to spend more time here, do not expect just a coffee to go :) Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person €5–10

Great coffee and a genuinely nice owner. Knows a lot and is very kind to explain everything to you with patience. The coffee I bought to take home was delicious and up to expectations. If you want to try real coffee and change your perception of how coffee can taste, go there. :-)
Great coffee! I was really excited to find a roastery here but the service was somewhat unfriendly, I drank my coffee fast and go out. Such a beautiful space but crowded by products there's few spots to sit. I was overall really disappointed. Price per person €5–10 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Absolutely worth the detour. An engineer learned and invested to know as much about coffee as edible. Ask about Blue Mountain, or about Arabica Gheisha. And make sure to try the Kenian Arabica coldbrew
