Platter of Fried and BBQ chicken. Various bits like poppadoms, cabbage, cucumber and beans and a fried tofu pancake that was interesting with the sauce. Rice was not so good. Also had forest ferns which was the best bit. 33RM including large water bottle. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Not so busy on a weekday afternoon. They served authentic Borneo food and price is reasonable. We ordered a dabai fried rice, terung assam salat and umai fish. The umai fish is a form of pickle, the dabai fried rice is a olive fried rice and the terung assam salat is a type of egg plant in a slightly sour gravy with some smoke fish meat. We arrived at 230pm Saturday and almost all tables were taken up. It's a busy shop. We found a table and ordered fried fish set, umai ( local fish cerviche) and midin goreng (fried fresh fern), watermelon juice and three-layer-iced tea. Service was prompt and friendly. Everything tasted delicious and were reasonably priced (Total bill RM57 for 2 persons) Recommended place if you want to taste local delicacies. what a wholesome place! It was very delightful to watch two old ladies working here and the food was the best. Soft music is playing in the background. If you're alone and do not want to go to overcrowded places so this is the best place to enjoy by yourself... Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Borneo Delight definitely deserved the title of best authentic restaurant in Kuching. You could get the most delicious Sarawakian cuisine here. We loved the 3 layers milk tea that no tasted too sweet. The lady boss is very friendly and we hope more tourists to know here! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40

Our favourite restaurant in Kuching! We ate here most days. They were kind enough to adapt dishes to be vegetarian for me, and even gave me tofu which I wasn’t expecting. They even remembered that I was vegetarian the next time I came! Me and my partner really enjoyed the tomato noodle, Sarawak laksa and mee kolo. Been here several times before with my friends. I'd say that this restaurant is average. The designs, decorations, environment is a bit nostalgic yet it's still comfy and relaxing. The fragrance of the restaurant really pleasant. Provender is great. The noodle is well-cooked by chefs but a little bit too oily. Spicy a bit (which I like) is really meet my expectations. Libations were quite great too, comes with big portion. Loved it. The price is average. Neither expensive nor cheap. Affordable. Service here was pretty nice. Not perfectly done but still considered as good. Staffs were friendly and kind but their keeping up with the pace of customers is lame. Need to improve and more discipline though. I'd recommend this restaurant to my other friends and family wishing you can keep improving and manage to do great things! Had a great experience here though. Definitely will come again soon.

Come here to try some local dishes not found elsewhere. We had the kacangma chicken which was excellent and reminded me of my mum and grandma's version and also the local wild fern(like kangkong). All prepared fresh daily. So delicious and very friendly owner/ cook who was happy to explain any dish. Delicious large glasses of fresh juice as well. I search for the KoLoMee but instead I had the mee belacan. I had try the same dish else where before so I know the benchmark. Their mee belacan is 6/10, too soupy, and less fragrant. However I saw a lot of foreigners dining here. I suppose it’s very near the tourists attractions hence the crowd.
