The food was good! We ordered Belgian waffle with bacon and grilled banana, Seafood Chowder, Big breakfast and Grilled Salmon fillet. The coffees and chocolate drinks were good too. We finished everything! Even my eldest daughter was wiping down the remaining sauces of her food with her finger. She said it was finger licking good! I liked that we can bring our dog at the back as they have a nice deck with a couple of benches and tables. It was a good stop in between Auckland and New Plymouth. Nice enough place, wheelchair accessible, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with toilets available. Staff were friendly enough, plenty on the menu, very pricey for what you get. Food was ok.

Coffee was fantastic. Staff make the difference, unfortunately the boys ignored us for some time on arrival, it didn't feel welcoming. Food is expensive, we spent $44 for 2. Filo was basic and not crispy as filo should be, lettuce limp. Pie was good. Windows need a good clean, food splatters all along and kids hand prints as well as something that looked like dry blood. Building is great & spacious, awesome car park. Please empty the overflowing rubbish bin out the front. This cafe has GREAT potential to be a destination cafe. Lovely meals, staff really friendly and good spot. Went for a walk at the park behind and then in for lunch i had the seafood chowder and my friend had the creamy mushrooms (both delish). Definitely give it a try if you're going past 😊 Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Quite delicious I had Chai Latte and a caramel slice from the cabinet. Both of those were scrumptious but deep down (in my stomach) something was missing. So I ordered some cod and chips which were nice however overcooked a bit…and the lemon to squeeze was circular instead of the wedge which is easier to squeeze in my opinion. However all around a nice little spot to have a nibble or drink.
