Great place for steak. Very friendly service. We were able to get a spot without reservations but after a while the restaurant started to fill up, so it may be best to call for reservations to confirm a seat. We got the dry aged steak, presentation was amazing but it was a bit chewy. The fries and chorizo rice was a good compliment to the steak. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Its very rare that you enter a restaurant that immediately makes you feel at home. You'll definitely feel that at Bota&Bira. People treat you as if you're part of the family, with love and care for your well being. They gave us suggestions of what to drink, what option was best for that day and what type of meat we should choose. In the end they even offered a dessert that was incredible If you want a memorable dinner in Porto don't miss out on this hidden gem. Incredible restaurant with an amazing staff. We ate here two nights because the first night was such a wonderful experience. The Ribeye steak is a must. It is tender and well seasoned. We got all the sides and enjoyed them all, especially the greens. The staff is super friendly and great with kids. Our 5 and 2 year old enjoyed getting little cookies from them and also enjoyed the fries and steak. Eating here is a must and it was an experience we will not forget. Highly recommended, meat was cooked to the exact temperature, staff / owner where very helpful including a great service. If it was bigger it would have not been the same. The staff here was amazing, they advised us of how much we ordered to ensure the right amount was being ordered for 2 people. The croquettes were cheesy yet meaty, some of the best I have had ever. The dry age steak had a char to it, and a smoky flavour that made it irresistible. The chocolate cake was moist beyond perfection and is a must try. The icing on the top was definitely service. Other places in Porto have given us average service, but this place truly had the most amazing waiters that advised us to have to best experience here possible. Had an amazing steak! It was cooked just right – juicy inside, nicely seared outside. The flavors were on point with a perfect seasoning. Great atmosphere too! Totally recommend for steak lovers. In a word, the best T bone steak I have ever had in my life👍🏻👍🏻 all the staff are super kind, friendly and atmosphere of the place is very cozy! Tomohawk steak was splendid - Bruno and the team were very hospitable and attended to our every need. We had our nearly 3-year-old girl with us and they brought her a dish from another restaurant (which they didn’t charge us for). Very happy with the service, food and experience.
