This restaurant has typical pub fare, but the food is locally sourced and filling! Order at the counter and seat yourself. My Tofu Bahn Mi was delicious & so was the fried cauliflower. Interesting concept. You order at the counter and then take a number and they bring your food to you. There is a station to get cutlery and napkins and cups and drinks. I ordered the tacos and I didn’t like them that much. They were underwhelming for me. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Thank you for being so kid friendly! I’ve loved brandy wine for years but they recently added a bunch of kid friendly toys to play with at the tables. Would love to see more restaurants offer this. I live in Seattle so I decided to go for a drive on my day off and wound up here in Bellingham, WA. A friend of mine told me to try Brandywine kitchen I'm so glad I listened to his advice this restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. I really really wanted to like this place. It was on my list to try for quite some time. We came for the gluten free fish and chips and also ordered the gluten free chicken sandwich. The fish and chips were not crunchy, chewy and had oil drip out with each bite. I couldn’t eat it. The chicken sandwich wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t come here to eat it necessarily. What a great, chill, delicious little spot. The exposed brick wall is always displaying some funky art and the high ceilings and lively natural light give the place a nice feel. There is an upstairs space if you have a group. I am obsessed with their GF fish and chips! Yes, you read that right, the fish and chips are gluten free and fantastic! They have a few choice local brews on tap as well as kombucha, sodas, juice, etc. My son loves the Cuban burger and the Banh Mi sandwich. They source lots of local, organic ingredients. Quite delicious food and more gluten free options than most restaurants. The fish and chips were very good and certainly not what I expected. I like most fish batter which can be greasy and not very tasty, the fish at Brandywine was unusual because of its perfectly rectangular shape similar to a fish stick. But the batter was gluten free and was delicious. The fries are definitely made in house as they had the flavour and attitude of being hand cut. The battered cauliflower was quite good as well. My wife said her burger was average but she still at it all. I'd go back next time I'm in town.

Some of our parties food order got lost(12 of us) But they worked to fix the situation. The food was very good. They have a big selection of gluten friendly options which is hard to get in a restaurant. Thank you for that!
