So happy we stumbled across this amazing restaurant! The staff were so helpful.. even going the extra mile to bring us to a mechanic to help with our bike after lunch. Food was delicious! Our favorite dinner in Sri Lanka ! Delicious sea food platter in this family run restaurant ! The husband fishes, the wife cooks and the kids run the business. In addition, the new location is gorgeous: sea view + amazing decor ! Cannot recommend enough !!!! Such a nice little spot with the most amazing views. They recently redecorated but don't let the swanky vibes fool you, it's all home cooked meals by the kindest family who's been here for over 10 years. I had the fresh fish and it was so soft, flavorful and delicious. My partner wanted curry so they served him 4 plates of different stuff including delicious cabbage and banana blossom salad. Overrated and not worth the high price. Very friendly staff and nice location (even though there are actually just a few chairs/tables with a proper view of the ocean, some are even behind trees etc.). Free water is also nice. BUT: The food is not special at all, yet expensive. The fish was quite bland, and the portions were tiny. We ate better grilled fish with bigger sides in other local restaurants for about half the price. Tuna steak was suggested (and ordered medium) but came well done. Wonderful experience. I don't know which one was the best: the Mahi Mahi ceviche or the seafood soup. Both were delicious. Would definitely recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
