Great experience! First time at this location. We ordered bar drinks, an appetizer and two entrees. Fried Green tomatoes were our appetizer. It was served with a rich, creamy sauce with shrimp in it (we had the sauce on the side). We also ordered shrimp and Grits (cheese Grits). It was topped with a poached egg. I ordered the grilled chicken Florentine Benedict (2 poached eggs ontop). It was served with a side as well. Both dishes were great! Filling and rich. Our server was very friendly and attentive! Nice restaurant. A little crowded as far as seating is concerned. However, our waitress was lovely and attentive. I got the mango screwmosa, and it did the trick. My shrimp and tasso mac and cheese was delicious. My only hang-up was my crab cakes tasted frozen. The bama girl breakfast got 5 stars from my friend as well as the SBC omelet with crispy potatoes. This was our first visit to this location. The service was good, the food was pretty good and the prices were a tad on the high side, for what it was. I'm not saying it was way too much, but it would be an every once in while place instead of a daily, based on the price. I got the Killer Creol Omlette and really liked it. Lots of flavor and the texture was great. It's topped with a hollandaise sauce, which was absolutely delicious. We shared the Bananas in Pajamas appetizer. It was very rich and tasted good. I'm trying to stay away from sugars, so this was definitely a splurge for me. The Foster sauce that came with it was really good. Overall it was a good experience. Fantastic breakfast and service.....on game day!! We ate here homecoming morning, before heading to the stadium, and they were ready! We were seated quickly, waited on right away and had our food in less than 10 minutes. The bananas foster French toast was superb! The service at Brick & Spoon was impeccable from the very beginning as Emily greeted us with a smile and helped us find a table of 11 for my nephew’s graduation! We all got to sit together and enjoy Benedict’s, grits, bayou, Cajun, omelets and the BEST service by Elena! Seriously, ask for her! So so tasty and good! Great atmosphere and lots of fun! We will be back again and again for the Bananas in Pajamas- the foster sauce - I literally ate with a spoon - best thing ever! The deviled eggs didn't hit with us - underwhelming BUT everything else was SO SO SO good! Just go and don't be scared to try new things!
