Coffee was great, but I think we might have been there too early (10ish am) and the choice of food was unfortunately very limited and some of the cookies looked a bit old-ish. We would have probably a much better experience coming there a bit later!

Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place! Worth the stop, was recommended to visit due to their pies and I can definitely say I will be returning! Delicious, love the decor, lots of options and a totally unique spot. Had a delicious venison and rosemary pie - lovely rich comforting flavour with chunks of meat. I was super excited to try the anko scroll too as I have never tried anything like it before. It had a sweet icing on top of a very delicately flavoured and intricately made scroll base. It was fresh and not at all doughy as some scrolls can be. Lovely lady serving too. Highly recommended. Great spot to take a break! We got a pie, mint slice and brownie, plus two coffees. The pie pastry was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was flaky yet held together really well and had a lovely buttery-ness. The slice had the perfect amount of mint and not overly sweet. The brownie was gluten free and you could never tell. The coffees were fantastic, we were so impressed. Thank you for waking us up during our big drive!

Adorable cafe with excellent customer service and very helpful in providing an explanation on the various drinks they offer. Best flat white I’ve had traveling through NZ. The pie crust was amazing, flaky and buttery. The filling was tasty as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
