Just a quickie note to add to my original review here. I've now been there twice, I ordered the same thing both times and it was even better the second time! Giant burrito; with chicken, half and half spicy sauce and just get everything on it. I'm a big guy & like a full meal, but I took half home each time and it tasted even better reheated! Try it! Ordered to go, and it was delicious. Edit to original review.. Dined in and ate at the bar. Greeted at the front desk and sat in my area of choice. Bartender greeted me and served me promptly. Asked if I needed time, but I knew what I wanted to order, those blue corn enchiladas 😋. We were seated right away and our server, Mo, acknowledged us almost immediately. The our table was clean and the chips and salsa were fresh. We ordered the stuffed sopapilla and a slopper. The food came out fast and very hot. Both dishes were on point and the green chili tasted great! The only downside to our time here was the constant vacuuming around the tables. It is great that they keep it clean but the vacuum sound was a bit much while trying to eat. Overall it was a delicious meal and wonderful experience. Tonight’s food was terrible. I ordered a tamale with medium chili and they smothered it in some god awful cheese sauce, inedible. A bean burrito with medium green that was not rolled properly and fell apart. A tostada with just melted cheese, no lettuce, no tomatoes and a soggy corn tortilla. I ordered the carnitas and they were amazing. The fat was rendered perfectly and they were expertly crisped. Served with an green sauce that paired perfectly. Ordered the peach frozen margarita and Dina didn't disappoint. It was exceptional. Food was so good I forgot to take a photo before I destroyed the plate. Lol. Had dinner at this place the other night. Very diverse menu, with some unique items like the Salmon Enchiladas my wife had with a tasty unique white cheese sauce. I went for something classic like the house special 3 pork green chili burritos. I was surprised at how good they were, I had medium and wish I had tried them hot chili. I got the lavender margarita, and it was amazing. The chicken fajitas are really good. I got the combo for both but preferred the chickens flavor. The main disappointment was the waitress Cindy did not change out my friends drink. She made the mistake of ringing up his last drink when he wanted to get the one I ordered. After stating this they said they could put it in a Togo cup for him. My friend ended up getting sick and throwing up from drinking 2 of the LIT. First time coming here. No wait, good service, and the food was awesome. The green chili was amazing, haven't had anything like it since moving from New Mexico. The kids meal was also plenty of food which is nice. I had the horchata milkshake and it was so good! The atmosphere was a little dark and dreary but other than that it was nice. We've been here several times and have not had any major issues with food or service. The wait for food can be a little longer sometimes with a larger volume of people but it is worth it. The dining room makes you feel like you're at home in someone's house getting a fresh home cooked meal, it is very cozy. I'd recommend it for sure.
