Service was instant. Had latte. Sat in smoking area and asked waitron for an ashtray and was brought to the table full of cigarette butts. Asked for a clean one she threw out the butts and brought the dirty one back to the table. I guess she was not trained properly. Slow service, food was okay but definitely not worth the wait. And you dare not complain because they have an answer for everything. Note that you also need to specify everything (i.e., fries/cheese) that you want your food to come with irrespective of whether or not the menu states such because if you do not the fault will be yours. Note that there were 2 tables seated ahead of us when we placed our orders so busyness cannot be an excuse. I would definitely recommend you spend your time and money elsewhere. Decided to pop by this Cafe on our way to Cape Town for a quick breakfast as it had one of the highest Google reviews in the area. Our breakfast order (English breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast with additional sausage) took over 30 minutes to arrive, which I could maybe understand if the Cafe was busy, but there was literally only 2 other customers. The only thing on our plates that was warm was the tomatoes, everything else was cold. I also had to go ask the waiter for an item (mushrooms) that was missing from my order. When the bill came, we discovered that my partner had been charged for another breakfast that was almost double the price of the breakfast she had. When confronted with this, the waiter was abrupt and rude, and changed our bill. My partner is normally a generous tipper, and against my judgement not to tip, she still wanted to tip - however it was not 10% and when we gave our total amount, the what I assume owner asked us in a very rude manner 'and?' as to ask us where the tip was. There was also a 'levy' of 5% on the bill which at this point I was too scared to asked about due to the hostility of the staff. Maybe they were having a bad day, but that should not be projected onto their PAYING customers! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

It was not a busy morning today. Atmosphere is good Food is satisfactory an average size portion served but the service level is EXTREMELY SLOW. (Worst service I have ever experienced) Arrived at 11am and put our orders in food and coffee orders by 11:07am Was served our coffee orders by 11:16am The 1st breakfast order arrived at 11: 54am for Dad. My breakfast order was totally messed up and sent back to the kitchen twice. My girlfriend's order didn't even arrive at the table on time. Her order came out at 12h03pm. My order arrived at the table eventually for the 3rd time at 12h09pm Would I come again here? I leave that to your imagination. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Had a great tramezzini and cappuccino. Good and friendly service. If ever I am in the area again, I will most certainly visit again. Had a lovely conversation with the owners mum and she is a wealth of information with regards to places to visit in the surrounding area. Pleasantly surprised by this little diner. We had been on the road for a few hours on our way back to Cape Town and couldn’t really find anything on google maps that would suggest a local breakfast spot. Especially with a baby and a 9 year old. This was the first place we spotted so we pulled over and went inside. We weren’t expecting much but we were surprised at the cute small diner, it certainly had its own charm. We were warmly greeted by the staff upon entering and the friendly service carried on from the second we entered to the minute we left. The service was so good and they were so attentive to the needs of our kids that I had to make a point of writing a review. 5 Stars for friendly service. We really appreciate the extra effort you put in and we didn’t even have to ask, you just offered before we could even think about it. Thank you so much!
