Probably the best customer service I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. We called ahead and asked if they could accommodate for our group of fifty+ and they were like ‘yeah we’ll just shut down for y’all’ and they did! We showed up and had the whole place to ourselves (filled it all up to be honest) and got service immediately. The food was good and they had a few local options that we tried. I got fried frog legs that took about 45m to get to my tables and I started to wonder if they had to go catch them first. The fry batter tasted different and that is likely due to the oils in the frog meat but the meat itself was much more tender than chicken and the flavor reminded me of catfish. I wouldn’t order frog legs again because the volume of meat is so small. Maybe 6 tablespoons of meat and for the same price of chicken fingers you’d get what you’d expect. I wasn’t disappointed in the choice at all but it certainly won’t fill you up.

Met a friend for lunch here. I had a bowl of white bean and turkey gumbo and she had a shrimp salad. While the "gumbo" might sound unusual everything about it was delicious-flavor, consistency, portion size. My friend's salad was ample with plenty of shrimp and a variety of complimentary vegetables to make it interesting and flavorful. The ranch dressing was ranch but appeared to be made in house. She loved it. Friendly, accommodating service added to the casual, comfortable atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I stopped while passing late evening through La Place for the Fais-do-do-fries and saw a yummy sounding special. We were disappointed on both counts. Fries were not available and the special “Stuffed Seafood Potato” was far from special. For $15, we received a potato split with some butter “sauce” and four fried shrimp atop, not stuffed… great presentation… The potato was not fresh, lukewarm at best and tasted like it had been cooked, refrigerated, and reheated. Sadly, our server said it may become a menu choice. I hope not in the dish we were served. I’ve paid more for worse meals, but not as disappointing with the good reviews we saw. Would have given five stars for more Gluten free options but I was not disappointed in the Shrimp and grits. Great local restaurant with awesome staff. I've been here a few times last weekend I ordered the deconstructed po'boy w/ the shrimp and corn soup on the side with an order of fried pickles and the crawfish queso for appetizers and the time before that I got the frog legs. The food both times was phenomenal the service has always been excellent and they are always polite smiling and friendly. I would definitely recommend trying them out!! My grilled shrimp was good. However my husband ordered a $25. Deconstructed seafood poboy. The sauce was good... but the bread was nearly impossible to bite into. Not stale, but soooo tough. We couldn't figure out at the moment what had occurred. Later we realized the kitchen staff had stuck the bread in the microwave rendering it nearly inedible. (Head palm.) Someone better get ahold of what is going in that kitchen! It was the worst dish we had anywhere in the New Orleans area. We wish we'd sent that dish back. I visited this restaurant Friday about 5 pm Thought I'd give this place a try today since I pass it at least three to four times a week so I ordered the hamburger steak platter. The hamburger steak itself was good and also the mashed potatoes. There was way too much gravy over the steak and mashed potatoes and the onions were raw which I am accustomed to grilled onions but I had a few raw onions thrown on top. The corn was kind of old and cold you could tell it has been sitting out all day and the bread was hard as a rock. I am not sure what happened, but it should not have been a one-star. I think the review before y'all my screen might have gone up because they were a one-star. These pictures were all taken recently when y'all moved to the new building on Belle Terre.
