What an awesome place! I found them online, called the day of my sons birthday, who lives near them. We ordered a personal cake for him, which he picked up and took home. The staff was kind, professional and very helpful.
Now here is the best part…My son said the Mocha Caramel cake was incredible!!
This is a unique and delicious treat for any occasion, and I highly recommend Cake Buzz for a really wonderful and expressive experience. I give them 6 stars!!
This is the only place I get my dessert since I first had a Southern Situation 1 1/2 years ago. The best customer service, perfect flavors, and they always take great customer feedback. I buy at least 4 a month! Love this place, love the people, love my Cake Buzz family!
Do you love cake? Do you love alcohol? What if I told you, you could have both in one bite!? Guess what, you can!!!!!! Yes, people, you can have your alcohol and eat it too! I've always driven past Cake Buzz and told myself I need to check them out one day. I never did :( But one random day, a friend of ours brought us a mini can't from Cake Buzz called the Southern Situation. It was a cake with Hennessey and Butterscotch Schnapps. It was soooooo delicious! I was sad that it was a mini size because I wanted more. Even my hubby liked it! I knew I needed to get this for his birthday. So I ordered a medium-size cake which is 7-inches. I ordered and paid ($75) over the phone with no problems. When I picked it up, it was ready, and I was in and out. Both the ladies there were very friendly and nice. Once it was time to eat the cake, everyone enjoyed it, and they all asked where it was from. Yay!
FYI: Parking can be rough. I didn't see a parking lot, so good luck finding street parking. You might need to drive around a few times. Boooo :(
Grace and Steve were SUPER FRIENDLY and the cake selection, quality and arrangements available is immense. You can special order so many varieties. If you love sweets and enjoy an adult beverage blend, then this little gem is the SPOT to visit!
Such an awesome idea to mix alcohol with cake. My husband and I came from Walla Walla WA after seeing the owner on foodnetwork. We were not disappointed, the warm greeting in the shop, the samples they provided and then many selections to choose from made it so very hard to choose. My husband sampled and fell in love with the Halle Berry (I'm not sure if it was the name or the cake... Lol) all the samples were good I decided to take home something I hadn't sampled. The butter pecan and OMG can you say "Cake Buzz" for real! I had to eat the cake in parts cause I felt tipsy. I so recommend and can't wait to get back to California to try a different flavor.
I always love them. The owners are great and everything they bake is delicious. My latest enjoyment was Butter Pecan and the Red Velvet. They call me the Heaven girl, because it's been my favorite for a few years.
These are some of the best - if not the best - cakes I've ever tasted! Plus the owners were so incredibly sweet and welcoming and helpful, it was an awesome experience!!
It's been awhile since I've visited but their cakes are so good! So far tried 3 different cakes and 1 cheesecake, each were unique and rich in flavor. The shop has a great, friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be back again in the future.
Unbelievably delicious. I bought 2 small cakes " Heaven" to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday, it was so delicious ( out of this world) I also bought banana pudding cheese cake, be careful if you decide to buy this, it is so good, it can make you addicted, whereas, you have to buy another one. Cake Buzz is a great place to buy a cake with liqueur, you can actually taste the liqueur, she does not skimp on the ingredients. We love, love her cakes. Grace I wish Cake Buzz, was in Orange county. I'll be back to try more.
This is truly one of my favorite dessert places in the South Bay!
The cakes are absolutely delicious....moist, light and super flavorful!
The alcohol is added "after" they bake the cakes and it's also in the icing...so you get the full flavor of the liquors.
The owners and staff are very nice and very helpful.
Yes....they are a little costly, but I think you'll find they're worth it.
Definitely put this on your list of places to try.
