First time in and they made me feel at home. I tried the vegetarian plate that had a variety of things (mango cutney yum!) with roti on the side. I bought this twice, once medium(in which I prefer) and the second time mild. Doubles are messy and I didn't care so much for them, but I had to try them to see for myself. GET SOME PHOLOURIE!!!!! you won't regret it!! A thin crunchy exterior, soft and delicious inside. 1st time visiting Calypso Cuisine was today and overall it was a fantastic experience. We were greated by JR who immediately had a very pleasant demeanor. The first thing I asked was if he had any sada roti and he said no but give him 5 minutes and he would make me one 👏🙏 I had all veggies and it was all delicious! We Also had doubles and a bake and smoke herring which are both delicious. We wil be back again and we're extremely greatful to find a good local spot only 25mins from Port Saint Lucie. As someone who was born and raised in Trinidad and spent 13 years living back home before moving to NY, this is one of the best roti shops there is anywhere. I recently moved to Florida a year ago and I found her shortly after moving and I must say the the doubles and saheenas are way better than any in New York. I actually only think this saheena is 2nd to the green shed’s saheena in Debe back home. I absolutely love the food. Today I finally tried her dhalpuri roti skin as I was cooking curry channa, potatoes and chicken and didn’t feel like making my own dhalpuri. It was phenomenal to say the least. So glad Calypso Cuisine is so close to my house. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was craving some really good doubles and the nearest location from us was an hour away-which we didn't fancy too much. My husband and I did some research and decided to try something new. We drove 2 1/2 hours and we were both extremely satisfied with everything from the service to our food! We got food to go for the next day and to bring to family. We will GLADLY take this drive again !!! I went here for lunch. I must say this is my first visit to Fort Pierce and I felt like I was in Trinidad and Tobago. So much earthiness in this neighbourhood where I could see a lot of people from Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica. It felt like mini Caribbean town. Coming to this small restaurant which is family owned is always bustling with people and it was super busy on a Saturday afternoon. Even if you place a To-go order over phone, you still have to wait for a while. I chose to dine in and ordered doubles with channa for appetiser and main course I got paratha( omg I have never had such a huge paratha in my life ) with curry goat. Their succulent pieces with potato and channa added to the curry is mouthwatering. I could see a lot of Indian flavours to this trini cuisine. The owner lady who is also the chef makes some delicious dishes here I must say. You feel trini vibes when you are in this small food joint. There is a decent amount of seating space for a maximum of 15 people and ample parking space available. I tried their raisin croissant for dessert to wrap up my lunch. It was tummy full and an overwhelming experience. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a homely style cooking. Overall a great experience as a foodie. Best Trini Food in Saint Lucie County! Always love the vibe in here. Real Trini Vibes from the food, decor, music, staff (Family) and all the treats behind the counter. Count on having a culinary explosive experience. - I wanted to add to my review! - I bought the food this time for my moms birthday party. EVERYBODY asked where we got the food from! I sent them directly to you guys. The food was an absolute hit and it served about 10 people comfortably. That’s a really good deal for a couple hundred dollars. Super happy. Had to update. A lot of people want to make sure to tell the bad in reviews but these guys deserve all the clout.

Can't wait to go back had curry goat roti with potatoes and gravy with added spices omg along with the doubles the food was fresh, hot, and the flavors were so delicious. Definitely get plenty of food. Your money's worth. This spot is a hidden gem. Customer Service was the best. My God hats off to the Chef that woman is amazing. Growing up in New York I was so used to having roti shops and my mom’s cooking every day, but I’m moving to Florida. I didn’t have that anymore until they’re open up this Roti Shop and I can honestly say that the food is really good… I just woke up this morning and had bake and Smoke Herron and it was delicious!
