Best Gorditas that you can eat in the area. The customer service is impeccable. The food is great. Best time to go is in the morning. I give Carmelita’s a 5 out of 5 stars. Good taste and clean environment. First time here, got the Complete Breakfast, added 2 extra eggs and beans (based on other reviews that stated they had small portions) . Very nice to have a place serve barbacoa and menudo during the week.. menudo was delicious and barbacoa was too!

Botana for 2 was on point, plenty of food for 3 people. Fajita was great with all the fixings, from flour tortillas to extra chips and salsa. Fideo for 2, and the lemonade was freshly squeezed, will definitely be coming back!

Not a great experience. Floor was dirty, there were only 2 tables in use when we arrived, and the 5 visible employees were hanging around talking with no attempt to clean or sanitize. Food was cold. Beef Enchilada Plate. Waitress wasn't very friendly. Won't be back anytime soon. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

We had their special Mexican Breakfast Platter It was very good. Two people with coffee was just under $30. There are cheaper Mex places, but the food was quite good and the waitress was friendly and efficient. They have limited hours. I don't think they're open for dinner. We enjoyed the experience. Dined in today and food was tasty; however, disappointed that the cashier and waitress were both arguing with me over them charging me “extra beans” fee. I ordered two tacos but specifically asked that they put them in separate plates/order if they were going to put a smear of beans for both tacos as when ordered separately it’s a tiny spoonful for a single taco. I stated that if they were gonna combine them to please make sure they included beans for both. They argued that it was more than a spoonful each so I was being charged extra. Ridiculous to argue over beans when my ticket was over $40 for breakfast. I will definitely go elsewhere from here on. Trying to support a business for what they stand for only to be embarrassed at check out over the beans served. I tried calling to speak to a manager to avoid this review but was hanged up on twice. Finally told manager was Jonathan on 3rd call but told he wasn’t available and they didn’t know when he would be back to try at 3 pm yet they close at 3.
