We visited Portugal for 2 weeks, and this restaurant was our absolute favorite!! Great service, cozy and authentic environment. And extremely affordable!!!!!!! We made sure to tip well because of the great experience. There was only one waiter that was working all the tables. They are a cash only place and there usually is a line for this small restaurant. We all ended up getting the dorado fish plate that came with fries, rice and a bit of veggies. We also got bread, wine and dessert and it came out to be 12 euros per person. Insane deal!!!! Wonderful dinner. We just passed and saw people lined up for table so we decided to wait as well. Glad we did. Food was delicious and the service was great. Fish was perfect. This tiny place is always extremely busy with a line out the door for lunch and dinner. It was filled with locals during the lunch rush and sharing a table is always appreciated due to its size. The server was busy yet efficient. The food was regional Portuguese on a small menu. Happy we tried it. Amazing ambience and amazing waiter, great food for a good price. Very local fun experience. For desert we wanted a cake slice but there was only 1 left so we got another as extra. I usually don't leave a review for anything. But this restaurant really really deserve a good review so I write here. The owner/ server is beyond nice and cool. Not only the food is amazing but also the service is amazing too. The price you say less!! It is the best food/ service I have ever had in my life. A gem of a restaurant - very homey with a menu that's short and sweet, and super more than fair prices. The guy serving us was kept busy from the moment the restaurant opened for dinner and whilst efficient, he's never too busy to help or to share a joke. The food is exactly what you'd want from an authentic local establishment - cooked with simple, fresh ingredients that's filling but not heavy on the stomach. Family restaurant with delicious home food, very reasonable price. We had 2 main dishes with wine, mix of desserts with coffee only for 26 euro. Maybe you will need to wait in line, but it worth Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
