Great service, atmosphere, and staff. The salsa Verde was a little too acidic - too much lime? We will try it again. We love the look of the menu with all the pictures of each item! We visited for dinner on Valentine's Day and we were pleasantly surprised to find open tables. The staff was friendly and attentive. There was live music and fun decorations for the holiday. This was our first visit since the restaurant changed names. The menu is delightfully different from the standard Mexican restaurants, yet all your favorites are still there. The chips are thin and crispy and the salsa is fresh. The salsa dishes are adorable and it's so nice to have one per person rather than dripping across the table when we share. We shared a margarita flight and it was both beautiful and flavorful. There were several dishes we wanted to try and it was hard to decide. My wife ordered the carnitas tips and she said the meat was on the dry side and lacked flavor. The sides were very good. I ordered a lettuce wrap pork taco and it was much larger than I expected. I also ordered a side of beans and rice and both were top notch. The pork on my taco tasted good, but parts of it were a little too gristly/fatty, (but I'm picky about meat). We were both full but we wanted to try a dessert so we ordered them to go. We will definitely be back to try more of the many great menu offerings. Absolutely LOVED everything we ordered. From the appetizers, main meal, our drinks, everything was delicious! The drinks were made exactly to my liking, my husbands drink was a little strong. But overall, awesome atmosphere, friendly staff, and the service was amazing! I always take home leftovers- and never eat them. We ATE ALL the leftovers we took home- which is rare for us! Came in on Sunday around 11:30, place was quiet- had probably 6 tables filled up. The servers were very kind and attentive! I don’t speak Spanish but the person I was with did so he did order for me, but they would still use English when addressing me. Food came out in about 15 minutes, fresh hot and tasty! They have a large variety of the menu so I’m sure anyone could find something they would like! Everyone in the restaurant looked satisfied!! It was an amazing place to get lunch and I 10/10 recommend! Side note: they had cleaning solution in windex bottles- I could tell it wasn’t windex but other people might get worried or what not! Great margaritas! I love the menu - everything is detailed, easy to read and has pictures! There is a picture for every single dish! The food was great, the service was quick but they didn’t rush us either. The parking lot was pretty full so we thought there would be a wait, but there wasn’t at all. We will definitely be back! Love Catrine's; we have had a few great experiences there! We had lunch there today and the food was great - I had the Tortilla soup - I would recommend it! Service was superior! The owner was there and checked on us a couple times, outside of our normal service. They did a beautiful job updating the space - go there if you have not! New favorite for sure! The food was the biggest let-down. The table salsa seemed like unseasoned watery tomato juice with onion chunks. I saw zero seasonings in it. Even some cilantro would have helped. My bean and cheese enchiladas were good, but the sauce was a 3.5/5 * for me. Overall, I wanted this to be so much better than it was. Great Mexican food that does not rely on high salt for flavoring. I highly recommend this place for those who are sensitive to salt and want to taste the good Mexican food flavors!! Came here with the wife and toddler last Sunday for lunch. I got tacos al carbon, wife got a birria quesadilla and my almost 17-month old got chicken nuggets. We also got tableside guac, chips, and salsa. Guac was very good - very chunky. I prefer it slightly creamier but that's a personal preference. The flavor was absolutely there. They also didn't skimp on the chips and salsa (they even gave us personal salsa bowls which is good news for the wife!) My tacos al carbon were very good. My wife's birria quesadilla was out of this world - I should've gotten that. And the kid's nuggets were good as well (surprisingly good fries too!) Reasonably priced, friendly staff. Ultimately a solid replacement for La Terraza. I will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
