Very nice little coffee shop on the square in Lockhart. My favorite things about this place: large variety of options "milk" for your coffee. The coffee itself is heavy bodied but not at all acidic. No wait time, plenty of seating. Cozy vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I enjoyed my time at Chaparral Coffee. It has a nice view of the town square. The Big Garden Sammi was delicious, and so too was the chai latte. Service was efficient and quick. Staff are very nice. Great ambiance and selection of music, which is neither too loud nor obnoxious. A great place to stop if you are in the quaint town of Lockhart, TX. My daughter and I stopped in here for a quick treat. We don't go to coffee shops often, so I was confused on what to order. The barista was amazing! She was super sweet, and explained each item on the menu to me. She recommended the Peppermint Mocha, so we got two Iced Peppermint Mochas. They were delicious! they had a hint of peppermint, but not too much. The atmosphere was nice, with vining devil's ivy trailing along the walls. The inside was small, but not cramped, with maybe 4-5 small tables and some barstools. The bathroom was tight, but clean and tidy. Overall great experience.
