We visited this place today on our motorcycle trip and we were really hungry after riding. Portions were huge and nobody left hungry even took something with. Nice place, good service and clean. You should try and you will be surprised.

Onion Rings
Its a sports bar type place. Was excited to see horse racing from Tampa then all the sudden another customer wanted a basketball game on so the TV was switched. I ordered fried pickles. They were excellent. Then had the fish platter..the fish was so fried and hard to eat..tasted like old oil..mind yoy I came at lunch time. Needless to say I won't be going back.

Food and service are a bit slow so plan about 1.5 hours for lunch. Servers are mostly pleasant to talk to. Then again, theres one or two that would carry on a full conversation before acknowledging someone's presence. Food quality is mid-grade...likely Chaney Brothers supplied.

Great burgers and every Monday they offer specials on them. They bring in some of the best local live music. The staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and well stocked. They offer both smoking and non smoking areas. I highly recommend Charlie's!

This was our first time here (my husband has wanted to come for a while because the parking lot is always full, which is his indication the restaurant is good!).
Well, we were NOT disappointed! Although it is a bar (dark), once our eyes adjusted, there was enough light to read the menu and see our food.
We ordered the All American Burger (to share) and I always want my burger cooked through. I forgot to take a picture of the very big and very thick burger that we got. But it was cooked PERFECTLY! The fries were delicious, as well - they were not overcooked.
We had a great experience dining here (and our server Stephanie was GREAT) - we WILL be back. Thanks for a wonderful meal, Charlie 😉.
