Not only should 27th Avenue Park be visited, but also Chases on the Beach. Many people visit this bar to taste nicely cooked coconut shrimps, tuna and shrimp po' boys. A lot of guests point out that waiters offer tasty waffles and good flija here. Chases on the Beach will offer you delicious rum, piña colada or margaritas. Clients don't highly appreciate ice tea at this place. The great location of this spot makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. A number of reviewers think that employees are nice at this place. We had a little trouble getting the service we desired in the beginning but they really stepped up & we had a wonderful dinner! 6 of us and our cocktails, apps & food were amazing! A beautiful day to sit on the deck & enjoy the ocean, family & eats!! Would highly recommend! I met some friends and family here Sunday morning. We had a large table and with that usually comes some delays from the kitchen, but we were told that up front. Keep things in perspective, you're on the beach and there to relax! We ordered some appetizers and drinks. You lose track of time catching up with folks, and that's what it's all about. Ashley and a few other folks took care of our table. They were awesome and did a great job of making sure we had what we needed. Some friends had the eggs Benedict, but I wanted the chicken/waffles. Glad I waited. They were delicious, and I had to take some chicken home. The flavors were so good and there was three large chicken breasts! I'm not a Mimosas drinker, but I had some Jack Daniels/ Coke. Solid! It went well with the main meal and crab cakes appetizer. There were at least two large crab cakes that were part of the appetizer. Delicious and filling. The parking lot can get full fast, but you can park across the street in the corner lot, and there is a traffic light to help pedestrians crossover without issues. The views are awesome inside and out. You can dine inside or outside. There was a nice breeze blowing that morning and it was in the mid-60's. A perfect day for good food, great service, and views. This place took a beating over a year ago with the hurricane that damaged the property, but they have done a great job making it over. My hat is off to the staff here. They did great and were all smiles. I'll definitely get there again and would recommend anytime. I don't even know where to begin, I never leave reviews but this place was SO BAD I have to warn others. After waiting 20 minutes for our waitress to even see us after being seated we waited another 35 minutes for our food and then asked for it to go instead. They brought the food out anyways and I asked them to box it up to go. I get home and the tacos and chicken tenders came with NO SAUCE and so dry and bland I should have gone to McDonald's instead they have more flavor then this place and my coconut shrimp wrap they should just call a lettuce wrap. HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT RECOMMEND Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Iconic location in New Smyrna. Great food, excellent service. Lot the bartender was great. Love the remodel. Very nice modern appeal inside, and incredible beach front view outside. Recently renovated, and still very good! The drinks are good, prices are reasonable. Great all-around choice for all. During regular season, outside bars and pool will be open, with a lower party deck for the bathing suits and surfer's to hang out!
