Great food amidst beautiful surroundings. The only thing is that the road leading to the house is not good. Make sure your car is not lowered.

An entirely new and amazing experience! The menu is not your ordinary food menu! Neither is the preparation and the presentation, as you can see! What makes it even more fantastic is it is not a restaurant but an equally fantastically beautiful and alluring home away in the forest, somewhere in Antipolo. It is fine dining at its best, personally presented with much pride by Chef Tatung Sarthou himself! Allen Ermino, Chief Operations Manager, indulged us with all the answers to our questions on the food, the place, even about the collection of exotic plants on the grounds, personally attending to us up to the time we left…..
Great find!
We reserved a table for two for lunch. They seated us at the gazebo and said that they wanted to make it private per group and that there was a large group who reserved the same time too (they were all in the airconditioned area).
I initially appreciated their thoughtfulness but they failed to take into consideration two things:
1. This was lunchtime (12nn) on a summer day. April 30. The heat was unbearable. We wanted to go home by the 2nd course cause it was humid and hot.
2. They let the other group’s kid use our (supposedly private area) as his playground. He was running with his yaya following him all around our table, WHILE we were being served our meals. Talk about running with your food.
I think the other group made them very busy so it felt like they forgot about us. I refilled our water glasses myself cause they would only go to our table to serve the next course and not tend to our needs. I would understand this if this was a regular restaurant, but hey, this is supposedly fine dining. 🤷🏻♂️
This made us not appreciate the food. I really was so excited to try this. Won’t go back again. Hope the management addresses this for future diners.
I would’ve given this feedback personally to the chef but they didn’t really give us any attention They would just appear to drop the next course and clear the table. Didn’t even ask us for any feedback whatsoever.
Tip: DO NOT let them seat you in the gazebo at lunch time (specially in the summer/humid season) unless you like eating while sweating buckets.
Tip: don’t bring lowered cars or sedans that cant handle really rocky roads (about a 500m stretch of rough road going in) or a steep incline (the parking area is very steep).
