It was just alright. The best part of the meal was the egg roll and crab puffs. The fried rice was simplistic and had pretty good flavor. I wish there had been egg and veggies. The orange chicken was light and decently crispy. The Mongolian beef was very disappointing. Not much flavor at all for a dish that should pack a punch. I order fried rice & was given soy rice. Lady on phone argued with me about egg being inside of rice. I’ll leave this picture here to show ther indeed was no egg , onion , or anything inside this rice. TASTED ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Very disappointed, I’ve been going to Chen wok for years. I will no longer eat at this establishment due to lack of customer service . When asked how they would address the problem they said sorry I just work here. WOW .. Man the food is hit or miss it's good 1 out of three times you order but the worst part is the cost is unbelievable. You need a loan for two people to eat dinner . For a take out place there are so many better options. Again I will say when it's good it is really good but most of the time you feel jiped and not satisfied. Food: 2 Service: 4

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chen & Wok in Surprise, AZ, and I must say, their orange chicken is absolutely phenomenal! This restaurant truly knows how to deliver a five-star experience with their delicious and fresh dishes. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy, while the orange sauce was tangy, sweet, and incredibly aromatic. The portion size of the orange chicken was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. Overall, I cannot recommend Chen & Wok enough, especially for their outstanding orange chicken. If you are in Surprise, AZ, and craving some authentic Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go! We placed an order through Uber Eats. We received everything we ordered in a very reasonable amount of time. The food was packed well and arrived hot and ready to eat. 01/31 we ordered dinner a few times, but today was the worst 😫 I asked for large Pekin rice , large lemon chicken, and egg rolls. So the portion was small the lemon chicken was awful. The sauce was cold. The Pekin rice was supposed to have a shrimp, just 3 pieces and fewer pieces of meat all over cooked, so very disappointed. Really just not a great place. A friendly lady helped me with the order. The food was pretty bland and nothing special compared to most other regular take out Chinese food places. Charging extra for extra sauce and 2$ extra for fried rice or noodles is unessisary. Inside is a joke and I would certainly not want to stay in there for any longer. Nothing updated. Staff was friendly, but I didnt appreciate being charged extra for wanting half rice and half noodles with the dinner combo since it's the same price for either. The kung pao chicken was decent and so was the fried rice and noodles. The sweet and sour pork was nasty, the sauce was gelatinous and tasted weird, we tried a few pieces without the sauce but it had no flavor. The crab puff was okay but the egg roll was not good at all and mushy inside. They do not have fountain drinks and I wouldn't conder the inside very inviting.

I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce. 14.99. I got 2 tiny shrimp and a lot of bell peppers and carrots. I called the store and told them that there were only 2 shrimp, I gave my mom 1 and I had one. The manager told me to bring it back so she could see. She looked at it and said you ate it. I said yes and there were only 2 shrimp, the box was half full with vegetables. She stated that there was 11, showing my food to other customers saying "can you believe it?" over and over. I have been going there for years. Food was great. Last time there were 2 shrimp. I let it go. This time I complained. She kept indicating that I was lying. I called her a liar. She said "I will replace 8". I said okay. She brought out the food and told me she never wanted to see me in her store again. My son tore up the menu...judge for yourself...I definitely will take her suggestion and never go back.
