Food was fine, cute place with a small terrace. We ordered a pancake and they were out of stroop, but didn't mention that until it arrived. Others had the same issue. A sweet and lovely spot. We stopped for a simple coffee on our way from Rotterdam to Brugge (OK, my wife had a morning ice cream!). It is clean, fresh and beautifully located. Very friendly staff.

Service was amateurish, blunt and lacking in manners. Not a good start but it didn't end there.. We ordered a salad each and both had ingredients missing. When asking the waitress about this my girlfriend got her missing egg but was delivered HOLDING IT IN HER HAND. There's NO excuse for that. My salad's two missing ingredients, which per chance were the most expensive ones and one of which I only noticed looking at the menu again for deserts, was said not to be a part of the salad. I could have it but would have to pay extra. What the f...?! Why lie to a customer?! To boot the salads were advertised as but were far from a "meal". I explained what happened regarding the ingredients and a sorry was all I got. Didn't even get discounted for the food I paid for but didn't get. Ppl next to us were waiting a long time for their food and another young guy walked inside with his pint after which the owner I think it was came by a few times offering some things in the house. So this wasn't just a one-off unlucky occurance, this seems to be just a cluster of mishaps all around. Don't understand the high ratings this place gets..

We had white bread with 2 croquettes and a baquette with warm meat. Very tastefull. Nice terrace near the water.

An excellent place for a tasty meal. A nice atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. You can eat inside or outside on the terrace overlooking the canal, or if you prefer you can get the meal to take away.

A great place with an extensive and inexpensive menu 😁. Located in Brielle, close to the Rotterdam ferry port, makes it the perfect place for a meal before boarding, or breakfast as you arrive! Brielle is also worth a visit - it's an historic fortified township on the Meuse with lots of interesting little shops.
