Celebrity Owner Wilma and her husband has a pretty good resto. The chicken is at par with Max's. The servings are generous. Parking maybe a problem on their Gen Trias branch. It can approx. cater to 50pax comfortably. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₱400–600 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chicken Inasal
True to its claim, Chicks ni Otit is a five-star carinderia! Think non-airconditioned but well ventilated and clean foodplace but will full-commercial grade kitchen lined with easy to clean silver shelves and prep area, plus well-trained and courteous dining staff that can engage customers with food suggestions for first time diners. We ordered the solo serving of binalot beef caldereta, and liempo but since we dined it, it was nicely plated with a round banana leaf cut-off at the base where the lovely garlic sprinkled rice, dish, boiled egg, and a few tomato slices lay. I would have wanted my rice a bit softer, my beef much tender, and the egg, not overcooked but overall it was a great tasting meal in itself where taste was concerned. The tokwa with kangkong and the laing were a delightful addition to our meal too! The tokwa was freshly cooked and crunchy, the kangkong still bright green, and the sauce a nice complement the marry the nice flavor and texture. Laing was superb and thoughtfully had the chili on top instead of mixed in the dish so the customer can personalize however hot the laing is preferred. Food was too good, we ended up ordering another cup of rice to share. Our bill total was P780, with sufficient leftover laing to take home and enjoy the extended Chicks in Otit experience. We saw a cat and a dog with a collar walking inside the dining area -- they are tamed and quite friendly too so I didn't mind sharing the space with them (maybe because I'm a pet lover myself). This place is a gem! Will definitely dine here again soon! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Otit's Sauce
The grilled liempo binalot is mouth watering. Tamang tama ang pagkaluto. They have their own spiced vinegar and I also love their Kangkong with Tokwa with Otit Special Sauce. We ate al fresco. Unfortunately, I didn't catch up with Wilma Doesn't Parin the owner. I am a fan of her in the modelling world... The food was served really really good. The service was outstanding.... Relaxing environment. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₱200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Our trip to this 5 star carinderia did not disappoint us. I loved the crispy pata and laing. The crispy pata is crunchy on the outside yet the meat is very soft and tasty inside. The laing has the right amount of coconut milk, spices and condiments. The fried chicken is also delicious. The “carinderia” status keeps the prices low to make it affordable to most people. The place is located very near the public market where you can shop after your meal. 5 star carinderia indeed.. this carinderia is no ordinary eatery. It's serve very good and tasty food but in reasonable price ever ordinary masses can afford. Located near GenTri Public market, so parking space was not a problem. You can park at public market parking space.. And the celebrity owner Wilma Doesnt was so welcoming.. She even take your group shot with smiling face.. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The place is always crowded with customers especially during dinner time when people line-up outside and wait for seats. The food is great and very affordable. Simple place yet with great food. Very friendly staff, including the kids of the owner. Affordable price and value for money. Chicken Inasal (Asal ni Otit's) was really good, probably better than Mang Inasal. Crispy Pata could a bit more taste. Tokwat Kangkong, tasted weird to me. Not sure what kind of taste they are going for. Relyenong Bangus was also good. We'll definitely visit again.

The place is simple and nice. Staff are also welcoming. But we didn’t enjoyed the food — chiksilog & lechonkawsilog are bland while sizzling sisig is just so-so. Will not prolly go back but thanks for the experience though. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Recommended dishes Pork Sisig
