Food was good. Server was attentive. The whole dining experience was ruined by the hostess. We were told that we would need to wait 15 minutes for a table because the kitchen was backed up. This makes no sense whatsoever. If the kitchen is backed up we can still sit and order drinks while waiting for our food. How the evening started: We walked in was told we needed to wait 15 minutes. There was no one else in line and plenty of empty tables. The hostess then asked for my name and cell number to put it in the system. The whole time we waited the busboy was also there just standing around when there was plenty of tables to clean. I asked if we could sit at a table while we wait and was told that we had to wait at the front. When are “time was up” she looked around the waiting room and called my name, but again we were the only ones there. I was confused by who else she was looking for in the room. I felt like I was in an episode of twilight zone and the hostess was actually an android. Food and waitstaff were good otherwise this would have been a 1 star review. Enjoyed my outing today at Chili's ordering the appetitizer sampler with egg rolls and burgers. Gave 4 stars because they changed the recipe for the dipping sauce for the southwest egg rolls 😩 Edit: Despite the establishment being empty the food took 30 minutes to arrive. I ordered fajitas and they arrived cold... but the server swore it was sizzling on the way to the table. The ribs were so dry that they were crunchy. We won't be returning and will never recommend them to our friends and family. Chili's Grill & Bar on Northshore Blvd. in Slidell, LA is a great place to eat. There were many choices on our lunch menu and the prices were very reasonable. Our two selections were the Swiss & Mushroom Burger and the Nachos meal. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive for our whole time there. All in all we were thoroughly impressed with the restaurant and think you should go and have a pleasant meal at Chili's Grill & Bar as well. I'm not sure why we don't go here to eat more often!! The service is top notch from the hostess to the wait staff! Food is hot n fresh, endless chips n salsa? Uhmm, yes please! Try the new "crispers" combo plates, you won't regret it!! Prices are comparable if not cheaper than other places!! We got the 2 for $25. Chips and salsa, chicken fajitas, and cheese cake (get the cheese cake!) and the kids got Mac n cheese. It was all really great. Also tried the spider bite it was good but had a weird reaction to it after a few sips... my face went numb and had a tight chest making it hard to breathe, almost felt like a panic attack? How i ordered $60 worth of food today I ordered the shrimp pasta with chicken and order chicken pasta southwest eggrolls and buffalo and barbecue bites. Chicken bites waste of money overprice and overrated then you get ranch sauce and it’s watery food cold as hell and they open at 11 and you get your order at 11:45 and I ordered two extra garlic bread with the two pasta dinners I ordered the lady that brought my food out was nice and didn’t do anything wrong, but if people pay that kind of money you might as will cook it Food: 1 Service: 3

My husband and I went in for dinner, and we decided to order the tripper dipper for our aperteizer. The burger bites came out raw. It was like the cook put the meat on the grill, flipped it once, and placed it on the bun. The manager asked if we wanted the burgers to be made over. Like, really.... The entire order should have been made over. You don't mix raw and cook food on the same tray. Okay, let's just proceed with our meal. I tried the chicken and shrimp pasta, cold. At this point, I'm too afraid to send my food back. I gave 5 stars for the service because our server was awesome, I will never hold my server for the cook mess up. As far as the temperature for our meal it was very unsatisfactory. Management was so unconcerned about it. Hope you have better luck with this location....
