Nothing can be better than eating perfectly cooked grilled prawns, chicken wraps and chef salads. In accordance with the guests' opinions, waiters serve good cheesecakes and tasty waffles here. The accommodating staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Enjoyable service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of Chill-N-Grill. We've visited three times and the food ALWAYS hits! Those sweet potato fries!!! Got a chicken club, cajun burger, fish basket, and wings so far. All the food is good! Chill atmosphere, friendly service. It's a bar, so if you have young kids, go earlier in the day. I got the duck drums here and they were perfect! I went inside and it was clean AF. I think the owner or manager may have made my drink and brought out my food. He was a great guy and seemed real friendly. I never heard of this place but he said they've been here 15 years and I hope they're here for 100 more!. Great atmosphere and food. I'll be back for sure dining in and grabbing stuff to go. They won me over pretty quickly. 6 stars if I could! Go! Eat! Grab a drink! I'm confident you'll dig it.

Stayed at a hotel nearby and this place was recommended. I’ve been to a lot of hole in the walls but this one takes the cake. We came in and wasn’t acknowledged for almost 30 mins. The waitress walked by us numerous times and didn’t say anything. I wanted to leave but other people in the party wanted to stay. Finally we asked her should we just sit anywhere. The waitress clearly didn’t want to be at work that day. She had a look of disgust. It was also loud and ghetto with a lot of clowning and cursing. Your employees represent your business. Just like I heard about this restaurant by word of mouth, there will be people that tell others to stay away. I try to support black businesses but this experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I frequent Charleston for business. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my puppy. Imagine coming to a restaurant feeling like they doing us a favor by allowing us to be under their roof. We found this spot just looking for a place near our hotel. Though not flashy on the outside, it is now on our must-visit list for when we go back to the area. The atmosphere is casual with a great playlist of music & the staff made us feel like family. The selection of food was good & the flavor was even better. My friend and I came here from a hotel just up the road, based on the Google reviews. The food was fantastic! We had the duck drumsticks to start. I had the Cajun burger and my pal had the flounder and shrimp. Our server was courteous and attentive However, my burger came out after my friend finished his meal, so that’s why I gave a 3 for service. Good prices. I was visiting Charleston and wanted to try a new restaurant so I stopped by this restaurant for lunch. The food is absolutely amazing and plentiful. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and had enough for lunch and dinner. The owner was so kind and hand delivered my to go order. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. This was a good place to dine. Friendly atmosphere and great service. I liked the meal I ordered and the crab fried rice was a delight that I was not expecting. I only know a few people who are able to create a good crab fried rice. Their fried shrimp was well not over fried nor was it over seasoned. I was disappointed with the shrimp and grits as it was not like what I am use to and did not have the flavor I expected. It was really thick in which I found odd for the gravy for the shrimp. I was let down. My son ate the wings plate and did not like as he stated his food was salty and the chicken was over cooked. I was shocked as my five year old shared that with me as he is now in training as a foodie.

Vey grown-up place, casual place with good happy hour food options and R&B and later at night. At times, they may possibly play hip-hop, or rap music. I have come many times and I love the vibe and at night they have security. This is one of the few places where you will most likely have a good time no matter what day you go. The past few times I have been here from about 4 to 7 which is their happy hour and then a DJ comes in right after. DJ that was there this Friday was extremely good. The parking lot has accessible parking. Assessable seating is available on the inside. When you walk in there are two sides. To the left is a restaurant type bar, area and to the right is a bar and a dance floor. The seafood rice was good. The flavor was definitely there on the teriyaki wings; however, I’ve never had chicken so overcooked in my life. Biting into the chicken sounded like I bit into the bone. I can’t make this up. Ugh. I’ll come back and ask for fresh wings when I do. It was worth the try.

Desk clerk at the hotel recommended the Chill n Grill. 7 of us took an Uber to the restaurant. After the driver left, we found out the restaurant side was closed. Since we had a child, the club was not an option. The man at the door checked with the owner (Mike) and the let us in. Had the place to ourselves. The food was AMAZING! Highly recommend Mike’s Rice, Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Shrimp and the fries. Not sure what goes on the fries but they tasted like sour cream and onion chips, YUMMY!
