Recommended by friends but was not our favorite mexican restaurant. Margaritas were not great , the tostada we had was very good. My husband had a taco enchilada and tamali and they were ok. Waiter was not good about asking. If you wanted cheese , beef or chicken , it just came with whatever it came with unless you specified. Service was super fast polite and prompt. I am beyond impressed with this restaurant! Their exceptional service & quality of food stays the same. I go here frequently and the servers AND owner are always on top of it. Even considering the economy right now, their prices hasn't changed drastically like other Mexican restaurants have. The quality of the food & quantity is amazing. The servers are always in a great mood, super fast service, never have they ever gotten our order wrong, even when they are plum packed! The owner/manager is always busting his butt making sure the customers are happy and waited on. I cannot say enough about this place. It's our secret gem! ((I got the polla ala crema, which I've turned on a lot of people to this dish & it's a must try!)) If you have to Cookeville, this is a must eat. We were seated almost immediately and our server as well as the other staff were honestly the nicest I've met at a Mexican restaurant. We went around lunchtime and it didn't feel crowded with the way the seating is. Plus, the restroom is an easy find. I highly recommend number 44, the burrito pollo. The cheese sauce is so delicious. The service is awesome, and the amount of food they give you is unbelievable. The food is tasty, hot and fresh! Don't sleep on this place. The margaritas are made good and strong!
