The guys took over a year ago and have been working hard, to make this place what it is. Food and service is great, just prepare to take some time with you. If the place is full it might take some time. We have been back twice as the lobster and the crab is awesome. Please pay those guys a visit when u are in the area. Prepare for huge rice & curry portions 😳 Been here a few times during my 2month stay in Hiriketiya and regularly came back. Definitely try the Watalappan as dessert and Parata Dahl for starters 👌 Also, if you crave greens (which you’ll definitely do after a few days in Sri Lanka) order the green salad. For consecutive 6 days, we have eaten sea food in different Sri Lankan restaurants. The sea platter at Cinnamon-7 yesterday was the best sea food of all of those places (although we have had good or even very good experiences in the other sea food restaurants as well). It was fresh and delicious with a nice variety and there were enough tasty sides. Also you get a lot of value for money. Even the drinks (we had the "house cocktail") were great. Furthermore, the staff is friendly/attentive and the wooden interior on the patio is lovely. In conclusion - best sea food in town! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Last night we really enjoyed our dinner at Cinnamon 7. The waiters were so nice, the food was excellent. The quality of food is excellent and the portions are sufficient for 2 people. Nice place, friendly team and lovely setting. The food was not the best. Dry and overcooked. I asked if the club sandwich could just be a cheese sandwich for the kids and got told no this is not possible (despite on the menu the club sandwich came with cheese in it).. we did feedback that the food was not great (leaving almost all the food on all our plates) but there was no offer to reflect this with the bill either.
