Absolutely stunning green garden, amazing food (please just try a simple mushroom spaghetti plate, you'll get completely addicted), spacious and comfy rooms: all perfect. Plus, François and his staff are such a pleasant team! I actually enjoyed the best stay ever, listening to the birds, lazing around the garden at 200 meters from the lake. Thank you team for making my time in Gisenyi an absolute wonderful moment. I couldn't find a better place

François and his team are exceptional at customer care. They go out of their way to make sure that their guests feel comfortable and at home. There is a very genuine consideration for these matters. We arrived here as guests and after only four days we left slightly saddened as we were leaving friends. The garden is beautiful and peaceful with an array of flowering plants frequented by numerous bird species. The wifi is excellent even in the rooms. The breakfast was outstanding to match the garden setting. The question we face now is not if we would return but when! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

We were 2 people and we paid $15 per one room with private bathroom plus 1 breakfast what I believe it was a fair price for the service you receive. PROS The room is spacious; The wi-fi is very fast, signal is good; The outside space is big and so beautiful, very nice to enjoy the nature around; CONS No hot water; The space is a bit outdated; The space could be better clean.

Colibri is a nice “price x quality” place. - Pros: rooms are big, staff are very friendly, the outside space is amazing for chilling, the internet is great and the owner is a nice person as well, very willing to help with anything. - Cons: rooms could be a little bit cleaner, there is no hot water and the breakfast is very simple (chapati, omelet and coffee). The best place to stay in Gisenyi. Clean and comfy room, amazing garden and super friendly staff. The food is delicious and the most important, you feel like at home. Thank you so much for the good vibes and the welcome.
