This place was definitely a favorite of mine. I'm from Louisiana and never had anything quite like this. The chili was unique and very delicious. The hotdogs and buns were exactly what I wanted. My son got the tamales and they were good too. Not a traditional tamale, it was over-steamed and topped with their signature chili. It was its own dish. My wife got the chili 3 ways, which was served over what looked like long macaroni noodles. All unique and delicious. Great spot to grab a meal that will stick to you. Seems like great food after a long night out. Employees were nice and helpful! Upon hearing a recommendation that this place housed the best hot dogs globally, my expectations soared as I ventured in for the first time. While the experience did not quite reach the level of flabbergasting, it still proved to be a satisfactory spot for a swift and casual meal. The ambiance exuded a comfortable and laid-back vibe, suitable for those seeking a convenient bite to eat. Admittedly, there was a moment where one of the employees seemed a bit uncertain in their role, perhaps making an occasional mistake. However, it's important to acknowledge that we all have our moments of oversight. Despite this, the overall service remained attentive, and the staff appeared genuinely dedicated to ensuring a positive dining experience. The hot dogs, though not universally acclaimed as the "best in the world," were undeniably flavorful and well-prepared. The menu is simple, and not overwhelming. In essence, while it might not be a destination for culinary astonishment, this spot serves its purpose as a reliable go-to for a quick and satisfying meal. 5 out of 5 for what it is. And what is it? Dogs and chili. Prices are great and you can eat for a few bucks or cater a birthday party or Corp lunch for cheap and plentiful deals. Food is always good at this location. I love the small buns that fit the dogs perfect and then the house made dogs are so tasty! Loaded with house made chili, diced onions, and finaly some fine shredded cheese with a taste of mustard underneath. 😋 Atmosphere was fun. Went through the drive through and the guy manning the Com was funny and had a voice that only fits him. Once we pulled up he and thr others were joking and working hard at thr same time. Must have hit an off day, ordered 3 with everything and got dry hard buns, maybe a teaspoon of chili smothered on top with a mound of cheese with undercooked wieners. Each one was dry and would have been much better with steamed moist buns and more than a teaspoon of chili. The serving area was so nasty looking that I was expecting to see cockroaches but didn’t see any. This was about 2 pm and the tables were still dirty. It was just nasty!! Great coneys and awesome service! I only come to Tulsa about once a month and this time I brought coneys home!! I put them in a ziplock freezer bag and drew out all of the air. A couple of days later I nuked them for one minute and they were as perfect as the first day. Thank you my craving is satisfied!! Like other locals I love me some coneys from time to time. But I was VERY disappointed with this location. I went here to get some food for me & my family. I didn’t have anything overly complicated or anything. I asked for 9 coneys (3 no mustard, 3 no chili, 3 no onion).I thought this was a relatively simple task, but apparently the staff didn’t think so… not only did the lady sound irritated while I was ordering, but when I got to the window I hear the lady tell her co workers “oh here’s the guy with all the complicated changes”… after hearing this I was immediately surprised & upset over this type of behavior. I looked into the store after hearing this & saw 3 people give me dirty looks, & than they sent a guy to take care of me instead of the lady who was originally at the window… I didn’t feel like escalating the situation so I kept my thoughts to myself, & paid/ received my order from the guy. The guy was nice (which kept me calm), he made sure I had everything & even asked if I needed any extra sauces, more napkins, crackers, etc… but the original girls behavior made me NOT enjoy this experience. My coney was tasty as always, but unfortunately was cold. I still ate & enjoyed my cold coney, but I’m still baffled that employees can be so rude & worked up over tiny changes to a coney… I know it’s not original, but is asking for something like “no onions” really so difficult for the staff?… I will return for more coneys in the future, but I will NEVER return to this location again. Love, love, love the food. My father, uncle and I each Live in different states without Coney-I-Lander. When any one of us are visiting family in Oklahoma we always eat here at least once during the visit.

Can't beat an original coney from Coney Islander, a must do Tulsa original! The best coney chili around! My once a month splurge for lunch!! Always hot and fresh and made to order! As they say, "Haven't changed a bite since 1926!"
