8/2/24. Stopped in for lunch on my way back to Hamilton, from Papa Aroha. Ordered the seafood basket and a fat juicy piece of gurnard. Asked for the fish to be cooked under-done, and was cooked perfectly. There are lots of great places to sit and have your meal while taking in the views.

Lots of potential. Pros: Great chips. Fresh oil. Good service. Good atmosphere. Great location. Cons at this price: Fish was over battered, maybe to compensate for the small portion. Mussel meat is not the star ingredient of their Mussel fritters. Zero healthy options for grilled and crumbed fish. Might try again, though I doubt anything will change.

Just had the nicest oysters that I’ve had in awhile! Very very stoked and really good prices as well on mussels, will def be back for those next time I’m in the area!

Ordered 2 dozen 1/2 shelled, melt in your mouth, oysters. They were so fresh.

Fish was almost burn and did not taste good. I could taste the fat used to fried the chips. Not recommended if you want to have this meal, however, the oysters looked yummy.

Amazing little shop and delicious fresh oysters!! Fish n chips were lovely and has a nice seating area. Would highly recommend.

Didn't stay long enough to order. Rude is the word!!! Went to a restaurant in town and paid $100 for a very pleasant experience and great food. I don't expect a whole lot, but a smile and a hello goes a long way in customer service. Staff just had a real bad vibe. Anyway......as I have said, went somewhere else and had a great time and enjoyed some great food!! All the best..

Really good venue to grab lunch on the road to upper Coromandel. Fresh as you can get Coromandel Oysters and wonderful squid rings and Paua fritters.

Tasty fresh seafood fried crispy. Their prawns were especially good. Soothed my craving for fish and chips
