I was very excited to go to Coyas Beach Bar for brunch, the pictures and atmosphere looked great on social media. I was unfortunately underwhelmed, though. The quality of the plates do not reflect the prices (e.g., compared to Nómada, Marzalao, or Pólvora). My $50 mxn side of avocado was bruised, and the poached eggs were served on the wrong kind of bread (the kind you’d use for a club sandwich, pan de molde). That said, the location is phenomenal, and I loved seeing people doing water sports from the table.

Chill place and carlos’ recommmended surf and turf poke bowl was a highlight. Delicious margaritas and perfectly chilled coronas if that’s a thing !? Full moon tonight!

Wow--we have eaten several meals here now (all great), but was SO impressed by the special menus for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day brunch. The food was exceptional--mix of traditional Mexican options and others for the holiday. Loved the chile relleno, gorgeous poblano pepper with tomato and bean sauces so flavorful they blew me away. The whole family agreed their mashed potatoes were the best we've ever had. Then a world class banana cream pie, and great fluffy waffles and eggs Benedict in the morning (perfect Hollandaise). None of which are on their regular menu--this team really went all out!!
The staff is super friendly and warm, always smiling and chatty, making the restaurant a fun place to be. They worked so hard to create a special Christmas experience, with cute decorations and festive table settings and live music, all while spending time working away from their families on the holiday. We were so surprised (expected to have a much more low-key Xmas), we really had an amazing time and are so grateful for the people who worked hard to make it happen.
Aside from Christmas, the regular food has also been excellent, you cannot beat the view/setting, and every person we've met at the restaurant, bar, and hotel has been a ray of sunshine. Can't recommend enough!

View and cleanliness are top.
The house margarita we ordered were underwhelming. Menu sounded good but pricing is aimed at gringos.

🥗🍲🍺🍹Fabulous food, atmosphere and view of the beach and island. Love this dish! Great for special occasions too. It’s on the 2nd floor so you can watch the epic sunsets and awesome Windsports across the entire bay. Also one of the only restaurants with access to the best the beach with having to trek down cliff sides, just walk straight out! 😊 La Ventana Windsports & Coyas Restaurant (Restaurante) are one of the best stops in Baja Sur, El Sargento, La Paz and their tiny little town of La Ventana, Baja Mexico 🌵🐠🤿🏄♂️🪁🏝🏜🍻🌄🌅
We had such a great week at Windsports! The service, food and atmosphere at Coyas was perfect. Our favorite was the tostadas because it came with SO much fish!
Derrick, Carlos and Kenny were our favorite and really set the vibe. Great bartenders, mostly had Derrick helping us out but they were all equally amazing. Thank you all. We will be back 🥰

We love this restaurant. The staff are super nice and professional , the ambiance and views incredible and the food is always excellent! We went for their arrachera night yesterday and it was superb! Highly recommend it, the meat was tender and savoury, served with delicious creamed veggies and grilled peppers. Their salads are super fresh and also outstanding. Their flan is wonderful for dessert. I’ve had breakfast there as well and highly recommend their omelettes.
