Late lunch date with my Dad. We were seated within 20 minutes. The service was okay. The restaurant was nice and clean. They were a little busy. Food took a little longer than expected to come out. Sometimes, I feel like servers stay out of site when customers' food takes a while to come out so they don't have to deal with upset customers. But that's when you do show up, stay on the refills, bring out the biscuits and muffins to keep them occupied, let them know the status of their food, but don't stay away. We both ordered the trout. It was pretty good. I would order it again, but not right away. The carrots were watery and overcooked, and the hash brown casserole was a miss for me this go round. The peach mimosa was refreshing! The service was good. Love the country atmosphere. Biscuits with real butter and classic apples were yummy. My over well eggs came out scrambled but were ok. Bacon 🥓 was good, but not the thick bacon as stated. We used to eat at this restaurant frequently. I remember now why we no longer eat at CB. Service Dine in Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I LOVE COUNTRY COOKIN. And this is it by definition. One of the best Cracker Barrel's I've been to..... But after I received my ticket I did not see my waitress again. I ordered Wednesday's chicken and broccoli special it was a very thin quarter of an inch piece of black chicken covered in Velveeta cheese and huge chunks of broccoli the mashed potatoes were awesome. I also ordered the $5 take-home meal do not believe the picture there was only half of my container that had food in it the piece of chicken was a small as a leg of a small chicken and I am not one to complain about things I haven't ate it yet it's in my freezer I got the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese the macaroni and cheese there was only about 1/4 of a cup so there you go. I love me some Cracker Barrel. And I love me some chicken breast. I ordered the Signature Fried Chicken dish for $11.99 This is a good deal, coming with two sides. I chose the hash brown casserole and mashed tatos with brown gravy. Two generous pieces of chicken were good! The tatos also, good. Not a lot of flavor in this dish, but it’s good portion and good eats. You can see that about 15% or so of the FRIED is just fried stuff, no chicken. Not a complaint though. The service was great! The restaurant was packed on a Sunday morning but the wait times were nit bad at all. We enjoyed our breakfast after spending the night in our RV there.

We were seated without having to wait and the waitress took our order of Grandma's Sampler Breakfasts quickly. We had to wait a long time for our food. Two other tables were seated after us and had their food well before us. Both of our plates had cold food. The eggs and hashbrowns were cold. One of the plates of french toast was burned and both were so cold that the butter scoops didn't even start to melt. Squished cold butter is not tasty. We were starving and needed to get on the road out of town, so we just ate it. Service was decent and it wasn't overly crowded. The food was very disappointing. Cracker Barrel is my favorite place for breakfast/brunch and this was definitely not good for either of us. To Go Roast Beef with 3 sides, Green Beans, Mash Potatoe w/ Brown Gravy, Fried Apples, & 2 Biscuits w/Apple Butter The Bad: Chewy & Cold Roast Beef Pasty & cool mashed potatoes No Butter PAID for Apple Butter, instead of Jelly Priced Less Online Website Down The Good: Green Beans Good Charges for Apple Butter instead of Jelly on 2-Go $ .50 Prior it was free/included if picked instead jelly 🤨 No butter given for my biscuits...(Maybe there's a .50 charge for that too! 😂 ) Roast Beef is chewy & warmed up (microwaved? not cooked fresh) However, temperature received was not really even warm but cold. I asked & employee could not answer my question on if it's microwaved! Honestly, after biting that roast beef I thought of a stouffers tv dinner!! I never thought I'd say this....BUT THOSE green beans was the best thing on that plate!! Skip the potatoes, pastie texture...especially when cold...that gravy did nothing for those taters!! I should have stuck to my usual...chicken & dumplings!! EXCEPT the last time I ordered it...there was ONLY 2 PIECES OF MEAT UNDER ALL THE GRAVY & DOUGH!! Rare poor slow food service from a cracker barrel. We were driving through heading home on 75 and while the servers and wait staff were friendly, the food was incredibly slow and apparently they've changed their policy that they don't bring bread out for the kids until the actual meal arrives. Horrible policy... I hope that The other guests in the restaurant which was half full weren't too upset that my two young kids were screaming and hungry. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
