We ordered breakfast for supper. My french toast was so tough that I had trouble cutting it with a butter knife. It was not soft and fluffy like the last time I ordered it and the bread was rounded. It didn't even look the same. The gravy was like paste and the grits were like soup. The eggs were perfect and the waiter was good. Another above average dinner from the Danville Ky Cracker Barrel! Everything was really good! The buttermilk biscuits were hot and tasted so good. The Carolina Barbecue chicken tenders are a keeper and I really hope they stay on the menu. The meatloaf is always good and this time was no exception. The sides were plentiful, but the real winner was the chicken-n-dumplings…I’ve literally never had better. My sisters say our Cracker Barrel is the best they’ve ever been to and now I’m inclined to agree with them. Great experience from the entrance to the exit! Our server was Justice ( our request). She has a great personality and does her best to satisfy our needs. My sister and I had a great sister's lunch. The new Carolina BBQ meal was excellent! Thanks! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our waiter was the best by far of all our trips to cracker barrels! He was very attentive but not invasive. Gave us small bowl of gravy with our biscuit basket without asking. Very friendly. Our service and food were great. We had to send one order of eggs back because they were over easy and medium (white cooked through) and our waiter, Matthew took them and came out with fresh ones right away. I had 4 free drinks on my rewards. I ordered one. When I went to the registered they told me I didn't have any. I showed them on my phone they said they could not give me a free one because it didn't show up. I argued and went to another cashier and she brought it right up. It was the Manager named Brenda who wouldn't give it to me. Wonder if she gets some kind of commission?????? I seen a lot of staff looking out at customers. Seems to me they need to help serve food and what the customers need. Poor staffing , and quality of service. The food not so good. Why bother to complain seems like the servers get aggravated. This use to be a good place to eat . Not anymore. Note, your pancakes don’t taste like they use to. Had to wait too long to be seated. Coffee wasn’t hot. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all and it was a lengthy time getting served. Waitress was nice but, I was never asked for a refill.
