It's an amazing place the food is great, the manager is brilliant, even thou we had a small oopsie with the ice cream he really gave such a great service for something so small I can definitely overlook it.
It's just the way he handled it brilliant service. Overall, the food was amazing damn porkchops are a winner. I might would recommend perhaps getting some more local beer in the restaurant, especially on the tap. Perhaps look at devils peak pale ale, etc, the comrcial beer it doesn't work nice with dishes, if you want want them both to stand out the devils peak pale ale it would bring some flavor to the food while you drink and eat as well just an idea. Would love to see more local support on the alcohol part as some places are already starting it up and make's a huge difference in taste.
Come on, guys, local is mos lekker. Gotta embrace the country and local beer. But well done on the food hats off to the chef making the meat 👌

The food is as expected, no complaints, consistent and enjoyable. The waiting staff are lovely, but unfortunately running from one side of the restaurant to the other to serve tables. They are trying their best, but spinning. Very slow service, but patiently expected.
The worst, unfortunately, is the atmosphere. The low buzz of busy and dark-but-not-creepy-casual-intimate-vibe was the wonder of the restaurant. Now it's abrasively brightly lit, with cold intense globes, big TVs, and somehow oddly louder than comfortable. It does feel like you're being pushed through a sausage factory or ER. Still, best mash in town.

I was unimpressed with our visit tonight. Waited 1h30 for 6 meals to be prepared with the Manager only coming by at the 1h20 mark to apologize. My dish was served with mushroom sauce which had a burnt taste to it and was not edible. Furthermore a family member's cheese sauce tasted watered down. We had a table behind us who conversed extremely loudly and kept on using foul language, it was extremely annoying. Unfortunately I cannot recall our waiter's name but he went out of his way to try and give us the best experience, I made sure to tip him well above what was necessary.
In the last 25 odd years that I have visited Crawdaddy's Waterglen this has been the most disappointing visit yet. I will not be returning.
You have lots to improve on and I recommend you look at how your Brooklyn branch operates. There is no better restaurant in Pretoria than Crawdaddy's Brooklyn.

I don't think I'd go back to this specific restaurant. When we got there, we were greeted at the door and seated by a white gentleman at the furthest corner one could find in the restaurant (not sure why) I requested a change in seating, a table closer to the light (entrance) we were told we can not sit on certain tables (forgot to ask why as i was in shock of why we would be seated in a corner)..The waiter went to ask if we could change seats 🤔 when he came back he moved us to a table closer , not the one requested for but it was closer to the entrance too. (Thank you for that) I was so stunned by this, I almost threw a tantrum😔 (call me dramatic).. did you see how empty that place was? Check the picture.. But instead we were seated at the back of the restaurant 🙄 like really? After being seated we requested 2 minutes to decide on our drinks the white gentleman adhered, instead of him returning, a black gentleman by the name of Talent returned instead and was at our service for the rest of our time there, we left him a good tip.. He was friendly and really knew what he was doing. Food didn't take long at all (since the place was almost empty I believe all hands were on deck).
The food was great too.
My 2 cents feedback to the restaurant: Always remember first impressions lasts. I hope this is not the treatment our people of color get when visiting your restaurant 🙄. Im very disappointed.
