This location has been a complete disappointment since opening. There are plenty of reasons for all the negative reviews. Extremely slow service, often out of basic items, and no real management to speak of. If DQ we're to have one thing they are never out of, you might think it would be ice cream but you would be wrong if you did since they run out at this location. You will notice that they often reply to negative reviews with an apology and an outreach for more info. How much more info do they need before there is change? There are 50+ one star reviews and they have the lowest rating of all food establishments in town. Save yourself the frustration and get better ice cream at B&G and burgers at 212.

We have visited this DQ several times and have not been impressed. They have slow service, are out of essential items, and have poor customer service/management. We recently purchased a cake and asked to have Happy Birthday written on the cake. We left the cake and said we would pick it up 2.5 hours later. When we arrived the cake was not done and were told they were unable write on the cake.

The manager was extremely rude. FYI don't cut ur staff to early. And don't let ur employees tell the customers. Excuses don't need to be heard when u have a line of people. Very disappointing

Service here can be slow at times.... Sometimes ridiculously slow. I understand that they are short staffed (like everywhere) and that is what accounts for it I'm sure. That being said, I usually order ahead on the mobile app and pick it up through the drive through. The food is always good and hot and the ice cream is not melty. All around good experience considering what is going on in the fast food industry these days.

I care for my special needs brother in law who is also elderly. I asked for a medium shake in a large cup so he didn't spill it. I was told, after they gave us the wrong flavor shake, then the correct flavor in the wrong size cup, they couldn't accommodate his needs because of resources. When I said he was special needs the man said he had cancer and they don't accomodate him. That's not an excuse. Edit- I called and talked to the manager. She was very polite and said absolutely my brother in law's special needs will be met every time. She was going to talk to the person who was nasty and tell him exactly that. I added a star to reflect this.

Got two $7 meal deals in the drive thru. They told me they couldn’t put a certain topping on a sundae (former DQ employee here—they can, they just didn’t want to type it in), added an extra charge for both sundae toppings even though we didn’t ask for extra (and they didn’t put extra on them), fries were cold and soft, drinks weren’t full—basically, there’s no reason to go here instead of B&G’s.

Hit drive-through around 6pm for a couple blizzards. With only 3 cars in front of me I envisioned a quick trip. Nearly 20 minutes later I wad able to pay and then told to proceed to the first waiting line spot. Another 5 minutes goes by and the worker runs out two blizzards one of which was so melted it was running down the sides. No apology for the long wait, no real greeting of any kind. Highly disappointed in my experience and guess ill just have to pick up my snacks in sioux falls from now on instead of supporting local business owner

This DQ has always disappointed when we’ve gone. Been there about a 7 times and always seem to have some issue, won’t take coupon, bad/wrong food, poor service, extremely long waits. So disappointed with the new addition to Brandon, it could have been a real addition to the town. Maybe some new (more mature) employees and management would help.

Ever since this location has been opened, there has been nothing but issues. The employees have not been helpful or had good customer service ever. Tonight we walked in and they had multiple excuses as to why they couldn't take our orders. First it was because the person at the till wasn't on the clock, then it was the system rebooted and we needed to wait a few minutes. Then a minute or two later they said they couldn't take our order at all. While this was all happening, every employee was wandering around in the back, ignoring drive thru customers and the others in the dining room. Also, many of the employees are eating. When we asked for the managers info, they refused to relay the info to us. Claimed they were not allowed to give us the managers contact information. It's really unfortunate since Brandon doesn't have many options for food, and we were all super excited to have a DQ again, but it has been an AWFUL experience since they opened up not even a whole YEAR ago. Someone needs to come in and whip this place into shape or they will be going out of business, once again.
