Clients don't like burgers, ice cream and lemonade at this fast food. Most visitors point out that employees are efficient here. In accordance with the guests' opinions, Dairy Queen is famous for its satisfying service. Prices are found reasonable here. From the visitors' viewpoint, the atmosphere is spectacular. But guests rate this place below average on Google.

The entrance here is a little hard to turn left into, or drive across W Old Shakopee to get to it. So, be careful. It is connected to the parking lot of the MGM mini-mall, so I turned turned right into W Old Shakopee, went down the way, then I turned left into that parking lot much more easily. And again the left turn onto W Old Shakopee via the exit from Dairy Queen is even worse. I'd say take a left into the parking lot and drive through that to take a right onto France Ave South with the light at W Old Shakopee. The interior is clean and has good seating. The customer service was busy, but friendly. I went at 730pm. So, I decided to skip the drive through. Customers at most quick stop places like this, have a hard time getting their paper towels into the garbage can, so it was "piling up," but otherwise clean. Environments look so different between day and night. I tried to get a night shot of the front, but I guess I didn't... Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10
Hard to beat this place on a hot summer day. The thin mint girl scout cookie blizzard is quite good, but trying my daughter's very cherry chip blizzard, I have to say hers was better. Another family member has a chocolate dipped cone and really enjoyed that. The dining room is back open. Woohoo!

I placed an order for 2 for $5 burgers. They had absolutely nobody inside or in the drive thru at this time. It took them over 10 minutes to get me my food. No reciept. No napkins and the burgers were awful !! Teammates were very rude and i definitely think they did something to my food. It didn’t taste right and I was horribly disappointed. Will never go back. And that sucks because it’s located near my work. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Waited in the drive through behind 3 cars for 25 minutes, my chicken strip basket didn't have any sauce in it and they forgot to give me my drink, I just wanted to leave at that point. The service here is always terrible, and I’m finally done giving them chances. The staff is always rude and the food is rarely correct. Go elsewhere, this place isn’t worth your time. Once was missing a burger from my order and when I asked where it was I was told that they were out of bread. How did the manager take my order and not know they were out of bread? Did they just give me my order and hope I wouldn’t check it until I got home? Tonight I ordered two blizzards in the drive-thru. They were both already melted and one was completely wrong. When I went in store to explain what was wrong I was interrupted by the cashier asking “what is that”. I repeated myself and the guy in charge told me “that looks right to me”. Then the girl remaking my blizzards argued with me about what I wanted in it. One remade blizzard was still wrong but it wasn’t worth it to keep being argued with.

I realize everyone is short staffed, however a wait of over 15 min is NOT fast. I should have been advised of delays at time of order. Not okay. Service: 1

Ok....here we go... The wife ordered a cheeseburger and they didn't have any buns. I ordered a Misty Twisty and it was so full of syrup/mix it really wasn't refreshing. I do have one positive part of the review. I ordered Onion Rings and they were fresh and hot.

the employees are beyond lazy and extremely rude. there has only been one visit where the food was actually correct and the employees were pleasant. unfortunately, outside of that one time, it seems like every time we go it’s the same bad crew who get orders wrong and give attitude. will not be going back to this location. :) Service: 1

We keep trying the Dairy Queen on Old Shakopee but are repeatedly disappointed. Bad service and long waits. Today I went and I was initially encouraged. The voice on the intercom for the drive up service was friendly and courteous. That has not been the case in the past.He continued to be but there seems to be a break down in the kitchen part of this location. I don't know if it's lack of direction or poor training. We arrived on a Tuesday night after my son’s baseball game at about 8:00pm. I had my family of 4 and my parents with. There was 3 people at the counter. Three more walked in behind us. Before we could order one employee ( maybe the supervisor) said very loudly “I thought we locked the door?” Well, the sign on the door said that the store was open until 10:00PM and there was nothing to say that the dining room closed at any certain time. So, I ask why would the door be locked? There was also at least 5 employees working at the time. When we ordered we tried to use a gift card but the person working the counter couldn’t get it to work. When they asked for help the loud lady was not willing to help. Not the employees fault in my opinion, they could have been new. I’m more annoyed that they asked for help and received no help from who I believe to be the supervisor. After we ordered more people were showing up outside and a customer was letting them in. Again, the loud lady said “I thought the door was locked?” Then she yelled at my dad for letting people in when they had locked the door. Keep in mind, he was at the counter ordering, not letting people in. He then told the loud lady “it wasn’t me”, then she yelled again and he responded again with “it wasn’t me”. I’m not complaining about the employees. They appeared to be trying to help the customers. The loud lady who could have been the supervisor was the one who was acting very unprofessional. And if the dining room closed earlier than the drive through, well, that should be made clear on the outside of the building. All this time, many more people arrived and walked away without placing an order because the door was locked. Doesn’t seem like a good business plan if you’re trying to sell a product and make money.
