I was in the area so I decided to stop in. Staff was very friendly and patient while I looked over the menu. I ordered the Dave #4 (flavor: Hot) no slaw and added cheese to my fries. The slider is the size of a regular sandwich, and the tenders are also really big, so portion sizes are really generous considering the descriptions. I usually can't even tell spicy chicken and regular chicken apart at other chicken places, so I figured how hot could reaper even be. Well, it was hot enough that I could only take one bite. They are not exaggerating when they ask you to sign a waiver before you buy the reaper. I ended up taking the food back to my hotel and taking off as much spice as I could, and I was barely able to eat it then. I wish I had ordered a much lower spice level, so I could have enjoyed it more. The food quality in general was very good and the service was friendly. This place obliterated the chicken sandwich category. My buddy and I both looked up after first bite like we met Jesus. Probably the best chicken I’ve ever had. Literally my only knock is why no ranch?! I could eat this every day but I wanna live past 40. If you don’t like hot get mild because it’s actually hot. Mild had a TON of flavor tho. Kind of a miss for me. The seating sucks, the entire place including the bathrooms were pretty dirty and the food was pretty over hyped. Was $60 for 3 people to get a meal and a drink.....for counter service. YIKES! Don't come here if you're in a hurry because it was pretty slow. The food was pretty "meh" for what it costs. You get about 1/5 of a chicken breast (but pay 10x the cost) and it's cooked till its hard and dry. Had to cover it in massive amounts of sauce so it was even edible. Fries were OK. The flavor on the chicken is out of this world! I had taken so long to go because other people were saying it was just ok. It’s wayyyy better than ok. I don’t have to have the cheese fries again. Just nacho cheese and I thought it was a bit salty. I got a hot slider and a mild tender. I wouldn’t dare go extra hot or reaper! Lol. It was the perfect amount of spice for me. The employees are very friendly and helpful with ordering. Nice little lunch spot to eat at. Will definitely be returning! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Biggest 'sliders' ever. One filled me up with the fries and big pickle circles and tasty soft & creamy bun. Look at that picture of my hunky piece of chicken! Medium heat was plenty hot for me by the way. The building decor is over the top EXTRA. If they wanted it to be memorable and give you an added experience of "art meets graffiti" (or something like that), then mission accomplished! This isn't your run-of-the-mill chicken place. They want to stand out from the crowd. Nothing shy about this place. In your face cool. But speaking of 'cool'....dang, it was cold in there. They really had the air conditioner cranked up on the 65 degree rainy day we were there. If you want spicy chicken and fantastic fries, this is a great place. Do expect to pay a little more because it is a bit pricier than your typical fast food joint. Also good news, if you order spicy you get spicy! I like actually spicy food, but often places claim something is “spicy” when it is not. The kale slaw is also a nice side dish. The best Nashville hot chicken i have ever had!! It’s moist, tended, and delicious. The flavor, and the price are on point. The quality of their food and service is superior. Get their combo with one slider and one tender, so you can try them both. If you like to spice it up get the hot heat. Dave’s Hot Chicken is 100% worth the hype! My husband and I drove 45 minutes to try it out based on the raving reviews. We both got the sliders with fries, I got the medium and he got the lite mild. Then we brought home a hot slider and tender meal for our son. We all really enjoyed our food! The Dave’s sauce is amazing! I would buy a tub of the sauce if I could. We will definitely be back.
