Azera is a nice enough place to lodge for the given price. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Now, when I say quiet, I mean there is this serenity about the room. There are rooms that fire you up and there are rooms that calm you down. Azera rooms (or, at least, Room 202) calms you down. The service was nice enough as well, although the receptionist initially put up this "questionable" look when I first got there. Eventually, I got to realize that she was having a really bad day. My point is, even while she wasn't having the moment of her life, she still tried the best she could not to let it interfere with her responsibilities as a receptionist. I think that is really commendable.
Awesome but becomes more lively in the evening with a wide assortment of drinks for all ranging from alcoholic to non- alcoholic drinks...there is no restriction to smoking so its a FREE space....the barbecue ranges apply as well as other sit out options. The live band is a stress relief to help unwind after work hours....though open all day...the evening sessions have more life with a safe parking zone.
Variety of items to munch on and to drink. Good music also playing, giving the place an upbeat appearance.
I had their goat meat pepper soup as well as chicken and chips. I felt they were okay, but the chicken and chips could have been better. The chicken was 3 medium medium chicken cuts. I suggest cutting the chicken into small edible bites.
Great selection of drinks and food. Nice location. I love the open air arrangement tho it can be problematic with rains. Their live bag is almost always good. I love their grilled fish.
This is nice bar and sit out to cool off. There is always live band on selected days of the week. They serve snails, chicken, barbeque, gizzards, pepper soups and other chops. This is in addition to the regulars drinks, beer and wine brands. There is security for your vehicles though you may sometimes need to tip the guards. I like this place.
Superb place for relaxation, located at a populated area in Asaba. Along infant Jesus road, opposite Varun filling station.
Excellent services. From security to waiters. Up to four waiters attending to every new entrant immediately he, she or they seats down. The seats are arranged under three atmospheres. Under the thatched roof, under a concrete roof and the open air (no cover)
Large range of assorted drinks (beer, Stouts, alcoholic & non-alcoholic wine, champagne, soft of various kinds and of course bottled water) are available.
The chewables are Asun (goat meat diced and cooked in hot pepper sauce), chicken & chips, chips & gizzards, Isi-ewu (complete goat head), Nkwobi (de-boned goat legs), fresh fish pepper soup, cow intestine pepper soup, fried meat, peppered chicken, fried turkey meat and barbequed fish (point & kill).
The lodging section is up and running but, the night club is yet to take off.
On special occasions the life band does its thing, otherwise the DJ kills it with good songs / selections of latest Nigerian and foreign music. Highlife, hip-hop, blues and many other genres of music is played.
It's a lovely place for family treats, ideal for young and old couples.
Best of all it is devolved of stripers and prostituting.
It's a place to visit. Aloha!
