Some of the best ribs I have ever had! The service staff are very friendly and kind.. Family-owned restaurant that does much for the community. Stay local. Buy local!.... Again, the best ribs I've ever had! Wednesdays are one rib for a dollar. You almost get a whole rack for 10 bucks. Best deal in town! Placed an order on Grubhub and after a 30 minute wait, we were called by the Grubhub driver. They explained they were on-site, but Deet's was unable to fulfill the order because they were short on items and they were now closing for the night. It’s been awhile since I’ve come this way. Last time was here you could super-size a sandwich for a nominal fee and get a little more meat. And you could ask for lean. I took a bite of the rib and noticed a change the normal wood smoke flavor now tasted of charcoal. So upon investigation the rib still has a nice smoke ring and is awesome. I immediately called my mother who prefers charcoal over wood and bought another full slab. I MUST say the slab cost $10 less then the rib truck and $8 less than the nearest rib competitor down the street. Now the pecan sticks are to die for but Oh my somebody snuck into mama's kitchen and stole her peach cobbler... I went back for another one. We ordered the full gambit my daughter had the 3 meat personal sampler, the chicken, sausage and the brisket. Ok my only nitpicking is why chop the brisket give me slices...thank you... If your tired of boiled reheated ribs. Go to FEETS and get some Real BBQ... $30 for that one personal platter and a pathetic side of mac and cheese. I am a firm believer in supporting local but not when they are robbing people blind, The quality of food at this once good establishment has gone down tremendously. I do not recommend any longer, I would rather eat the cheap BBQ at Cedar Point Amusement Park. Poor quality side dishes, the meats were insanely dry Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Friendly service. First time here. Really good ham sandwich. Mac and cheese and green beans were pretty good. Inedible, cold chicken sandwich. Yuck!! 😬 Baked beans had no flavor. I would never suggest going there.😐

Deets BBQ in Maumee Ohio food is so fire!! 🔥 My first day of my nursing program, I tried the smoked sausage with coleslaw and immediately fell in love! I saw it only fitting to make my last journey to Maumee Ohio to include Deets one more time!! If you want some good (and I mean GOOD) BBQ come down to Deets BBQ! Almost everything was perfect the green beans were seasoned good & they were tender not mushy,the smoked sausage was really good so was the chopped brisket.The mac & cheese was creamy & flavorful as well, the only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the ribs they actually did have a good taste but they were over cooked which made the meat dry, with that being said I'd still give DEET'S BBQ another visit in the future. I was at a recent venue where we were offered Deets or a Mexican meal and was looking forward to having Deets and was highly disappointed in the Deets meal , I can make a better pulled pork at home and wish that I had gotten the Mexican meal instead.
