We walked in , we were looked at but was not greeted. We stood at the counter waiting for service and the girl that was working the drive thru window didn’t say anything. Maybe something like , someone will be with you shortly, or even a hello. There was one person working the food line. Then after more than 5 minutes a Gentlemen, (perhaps the manager? ) came out from the back and took our order. He also helped make the order. Absolutely no customers in the building and only one car in drive thru. Food was good. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Went through the drive through around 6 PM. The girl running it was so patient and kind. We were lost on how to get the app deals and she was so awesome. Sometimes it’s the experience and not the food at all that deserves a rating. Thank you so much. These days, you are a rare and special person. The girl that took our order was rude. We walked up and said hello to no response and a blank stare. Ordered our food and told our number was 26, sat down for a while and noticed a tray sitting at the counter, no number ever called. I went up and asked if this was 26 and she had no clue (only one tray there). She never said it was 26 and when I asked she rudely said YES and looked at me like an idiot. It is not open on Sunday. Refused service before closing time. Someone else came as well and didn't get service. Online app says open til midnight and on the door 11. Person said the speaker wasn't working, liar. She was busy cleaning up the front. Service Take out Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

yesterday evening (10/26/23) I was in the drive through with 2 cars ahead of me. It took 38 minutes to get to the speaker and I still waited without my order taken. Also, I tried calling 3 times and no one answered. I left when the 2 cars ahead of me pulled off and i did not place an order. Today I called and spoke to a manager who said there were only 2 people working last night. I asked why they didn't call employees in to help and her reply was "well what did you want us to do, close the restaurant?" I told her that would have been better than having customers wait that long! No apology. No nothing only a smart remark! Horrible, horrible experience and customer service!!! The food was fine, and my complaint is about the girl working the drive thru. I’ve worked in customer service for over 20 years, and her behavior was uncalled for. Saturday, 10/28 at 1pm the girl taking orders was about 18-21, Hispanic, long white tipped nails, neck tattoos, ear bud in her left ear. We ordered a lot of food and when we got to the window another girl ran our card then gave it back to me. The rude girl came over and said I need to run your card again because I had to separate your orders since you took so long to order. Since she said this in a very rude and snarky way, I responded with “excuse me”, and she slammed the window. The other girl came back to hand us our food so I asked her what that other girls name was. She asked me why, and I told her that I’d like to know her name. She shut the window, went back to talk to the other girl, waited a few minutes, then came back to the window. She said “her name is Lilly.” Then slammed the window shut. 1. That seemed like an obvious lie about her name 2. Food workers should not have long fake nails as that is a health violation or at the least very unsanitary when handling food 3. If you’re in customer service, you should not be wearing an ear bud while serving customers 4. The snarky comment was uncalled for. If she hadn’t said what she said, then I wouldn’t have cared about getting charged two separate orders. Maybe this girl needs to be moved away from customer facing positions. 5. The other girl helping us seemed new and was a little rattled. Not upset with her. Reading past reviews, it seems this is not her first time leaving other customers upset. clean dining area and cooking area. food is tasty, fresh, and the staff is friendly and willing to help. I love Del Taco! quality food for a simple price. never disappointed. friendly smiles and happy crews, busy or not. yummy fast mexican food and always hot and very tasty. We got there around 9:20 pm and the young girl working tells my husband the lobby closes at 10 pm. He said well can we eat our food and she was a little stand off-ish with him. $56.00 and we felt uncomfortable even eating there. Family enjoyed the food though. Just tried their new Carne Assad torta. Very good and very filling. No skimps on the meat or toppings. Would get it again in a heartbeat! Also they price was right. Just $8.53 that is tax included. Surprise AZ location Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10

I am updating my previous 1 star review of this Del Taco. New people here, and a much improved service attitude and food quality. Our order was made the way it was supposed to be and our order taker was pleasant and efficient. Props to the owner for making these needed improvements. Keep up the good work! Hands down the worst Del Taco in the metro Phoenix area in my opinion for the following reasons. Their business hours are constantly changing and undependable. Have been there at least 5 times recently during posted hours in which the unit was locked up and no one was present at the location. As others have already posted here, in general their managers and employees are arogant and rude towards customers and have no commitment or apparently not even caring about providing basic courteous customer service. From not providing free refills, to not accepting valid Del Taco coupons, to extra long waits for food and sloppy presentations of the food vs other Del Taco units, it seems as though nothing is immune from this pervasive negative attitude. Very disappointing. Del Taco used to be the best Mexican style fast food in the business. But not this place! They just don't seem to care! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
