I was so disappointed that when I forgot my to go box, they'd thrown it away. I wish they'd thought to save it for a little bit. I was back in less than 10 minutes and it was half of my meal. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Me and my brother accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant while getting gas before arriving at our campsite for Rock Fest. Ended up eating here for breakfast every morning during the festival. The waitresses and staff were wonderful and the food was very nice. Great price, too, considering the portions. Overall, I'm very glad we found this little place! Stopped by to get my first taste of cheese curds. Wasn't impressed. Very chewy and greasy. Couldn't finish my order. The service was fine. The lady who took my order was pleasant. I'm pretty sure I past the cooks outside smoking when I entered because I had to wait for them to come back in to get the order filled. Maybe they were all on break at 1:30 in the afternoon, 30 minutes before closing and/or maybe my expectations were too high for cheese curds. A great breakfast - had the everything omelette with hash browns -a whole plateful. Twas good, properly cooked. Had a large selection of condiments on the table. Coffee was good too. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

We go to DJ's 3 to 4 times a year when visiting with family near there and its unbelievable how affordable the food is. It reminds me of eating at the Husky's in Northern Ontario Canada. $8.00 for a full and I do mean a full breakfast with bottomless coffee. Clean, well stocked, sanitized bathrooms. The staff is really nice to chat with and very attentive to the customers. Great coffee at .99 cents a cup. Small country establishment using local fare -and you can really see and taste it-. Really affordable -wow! Clean sitting areas either booth or table. Well lit and clean. Highly recommend. Great service with a smile from the waitress. She was young, & although there were a few slight indications of her inexperience, she was ambitious with a pleasant attitude. Even though I thought their bean & ham soup was a little light on the ham, it was delicious! The rest of the food was only okay. I was also disappointed in their hamburger gravy I was expecting meat with it. It appeared like it was only the regular brown beef gravy that was probably browned in a frying pan with the leftover hamburger grease. If you like the taste of pan gravy you might like it, but it really wasn't to my liking and definitely not what I was expecting. To sum it up, I would give the service 5 stars & the food only 3 inspite of how good the bean soup was.
