This place has moved from its old beachfront location to a new location away from the beach. It has lovely garden and can sit outside or inside and the place is huge. Can even play chess as they have set up chess tables. I had pizza and it was authentic Italy pizza. Tried their smoothie and masala chai all good. Great value and service. No hesitation in recommending this place

Nothing has changed here. Am amazing place with an amazing ambience. The owners are still keeping things up to the mark. However there was no ice cream when we went ☹ but the coffee and food was still very good. It’s a must visit place if you are in the Negombo area. You end up dropping in for a small coffee but will end up having something to eat for sure 😊 Do try their pizzas, they are very nice… However this time around we didn’t have them.
Cool calm environment with the sea view to have a drink with friends. Food taste also good. Try crumb fried sear fish. Somedays they have live musical session too.
Note: There were few dogs and they are sleeping under the tables. So check before you sit.
Due to sudden illness of one of the members in our travelcompany we had to make a stop at the nearby hospital.
So the rest had an unplanned coffee and cake at Dolce Vita. Was one of the highlights during this trip, owner is a musiclover like me., various band posters on the walls.
Even one of our group played the keyboard there.
Great atmosphere, best coffee in Sri Lanka...highly recommended.
