We had a pleasant evening with nice view. Staff were extremely friendly. We celebrated our anniversary here. This place is big enough to fit good number of people. Ideal for get together, office parties, birthday celebration or couple date too. This place has classy & pleasing environment. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

We had a wonderful evening at Don Berto. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful, the food was superb (especially the pasta with truffle), and the views were pretty wonderful too. Had also a variety of different desserts. They have a lot of dishes which are gluten free excluding the pizza. The price was well worth the quality of food - definitely a must stop!

Good place for seafood with very good views over birgu! We got seafood dishes that were value for money! Especially the risotto which was a huge portion! I didn’t expect it to be that big. It is something you can definitely share between two people! My only two items that I need to raise are the following: 1) the balcony is too cold during winter! I am sure that it is lovely for summer but I would keep a heater outside since you use that space for winter as well 2) I am not fully aware of the time they are open because the day we went they opened at 6:30pm but another day (Tuesday) I was there middle day and they were also closed! Where can I start? What a disaster this place was..first of all..the food is VERY overpriced for the lack of quality it showed...dry meat etc.....even simple drinks..like iced tea cost almost 4 euros! We were promised the use of a lift that was not functioning..the stairs are very dangerous for prams..but the disastrous highlight of our experience at this place was the EXTREMELY ANNOYING noisy family near our table who kept shouting like hooligans and the management did not even have the decency to tell them to behave decently in a public 'so called' fine restaurant, it was so bad that we had to leave quickly. Very disappointing experience for the prices we paid...both for the atmosphere which is very unrefined, cheap and tacky as noone cares, and the overpriced food that lacked quality. NEVER AGAIN! Worst experience with vegan food. They don’t even know what vegan food is. I ordered a vegan bowl it was only with kale and it was burnt and the avokado mushy because it was frozen not fresh. I talked to the waiters and she just looked down instead of trying to talk to me and i was being very polite. Im sorry but so disappointed. The price was more than 18€ for burnt kale, frozen avokado, small portion of beans really not worth it price.
