Don Ho Restaurant in Bloomington is a local establishment that offers classic Americanized Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. The place has a cozy ambiance and friendly service with an extensive menu that includes dishes like Moo Goo Gai Pan, Chow Mein, and Beef and Broccoli. The portions are massive, and the food is consistently delicious and flavorful. The interior design is simple but comfortable, with a small dining area that can get crowded during peak hours. Don Ho's location is convenient, situated in a strip mall near Scoops ice cream and Dred Scott Fields. The restaurant also offers takeout and a takeout window for easy pick-up. The menu features classic cocktails like Mai Tai and Margarita, along with soft drinks and wines. Don Ho is an excellent place for those seeking quality Chinese food without breaking the bank.

SO GOOD. I got the chicken lo mein and that chicken was so tender and the flavor was great. Loved the cheese puffs. They have a flip book of the dishes and the woman helping us made sure to show us what we were getting ourselves into which I thought was sweet. Pretty reasonable pricing with large portions so be prepared for leftovers. There is no dine in seating but there is a nice patio area at the strip mall. We waited about 10 minutes after ordering in person. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Lo

I've only done take out. Best Lo Mein ever. All the dishes are great, and the people are super nice. Prices are very reasonable, and I also get my food quickly (usually a few minutes ahead of when they say it will be ready). I would give Don Ho's 5 stars in a heartbeat if she simply upgraded her takeout trays, they always melt. I've ordered a handful of different lunch specials from Don Ho's, the food is great, but every single time, I notice large amounts of MELTED styrofoam on the bottom of the takeout tray. Today, a huge hole was melted through the bottom of my tray, and I lost the lunch. Either the food going in is too hot for the thin, flimsy, trays to handle, or she microwaves the trays before she gives them to you, and the contents become so hot they melt through. Either way, how much styrofoam are we eating? Who knows!

Was in the area for a sports event and wanted to see if could find some Chinese food. They are located in a small strip mall, a bit on the small side for the dining area but looks more popular for take out. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered Won ton soup, chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, and egg rolls. Won ton soup is for my daughter who likes just the won tons, no complaints from her. Sesame chicken was ok, the sauce wasn't quite as spicy as I am used to but used nice big chucks of white meat. Egg rolls were basic with more veggies then meat but be warned that the spicy mustard is very spicy. Chicken Lo Mein was good with thinner noodles, white meat chicken, and a good sauce although a bit more veggies could be mixed in. Chicken Fried Rice was on par with the Lo Mein with white meat chicken, good sauce but could use a bit more veggies mixed in. Overall a decent little Chinese place to visit if in the area.

Delicious Chinese food. Very generous portions, and a $6.95 lunch special make this a go to stop for people living and working in South West Bloomington! My very favorite part is that when you order a dish you can tell it is not mass produced. A general Taos chicken combo does not come out of the freezer, but is hand breaded, fresh and oh so tasty! Also, you can pick between egg rolls or cream cheese wontons for the side too!

This place was amazing and has massive food servings. Would definitely recommend! We are from out of town and will have to swing through again. This is just take out but there is a few tables outside where you can sit and eat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
