We visited the Driftwood Bar & Grill twice during our trip. Unlike the Westin Hotel pool bar and beach, which was heaving with crowds of loud vacationers whenever we passed through, the Driftwood has a completely different vibe...it was relaxing, calming, almost tranquil. The service staff were attentive without being pushy, and every dish we had there was excellent. If you're looking for somewhere to just chill, this is the place ! Amazing, mouthwatering food from Chef Afzal and team! They made everything very delicious and frequently checked in on the quality of the food. The servers were very polite and hospitable. Driftwood had become a favorite dine in place for my Wice and I during my 2 month business trip to Cayman and stay at Holiday Inn. The food was flavorful, fresh and hot the spot. I particularly enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, tacos, burgers and fish. Thank you for making my stay memorable with the delicious meals and hospitality! The food and drinks are both excellent, but nothing compared to the bartender Colin. It's no exaggeration that Colin was a huge highlight of our vacation. He makes excellent drinks, recommendations on the island, and most of all, he is hilarious and entertaining. We stayed at the resort and seeing Colin became a regular highlight of our days. Beach par and pub feel even though it is on North Sound. The food is solid but not spectacular but the open-air ambiance is nice. You have to go over about 15 speed bumps to get here. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Colin is a gentleman and a scholar. A real class act and quite the bartender. He accommodated every want and need, including squeezing fresh limes for my lovely lady. I told him I had a shellfish allergy and he was very mindful of that whenever I'd order food. One of the highlights of our vacation was the friendly banter with him as we ordered or waited for our food/drinks. Whoever they hired as chefs and cooks needs a raise. My friend and I stayed at the Hotel they are connected to because of a last minute disaster/cancellation. The hotel is good but the food was incredible. We ate everywhere on the island we could and whenever we wanted to stay in and eat resort side we were constantly impressed and so incredibly grateful at the quality and authenticity of the food. At the end of our week we actively chose to eat at Driftwood because we trusted it would be great and we were proven correct. Plus the prices at Driftwood were some of the most reasonable we found. If you have a chance to eat here do it!

If you want to spend a great outdoor afternoon having a meal, this is a great option. Very nice staff.
